Winter camping is just that. A safe place to park your vehicle, have some pit toilets, and start a campfire.I stayed here two nights in feb and the spots were plowed out. Doesn’t look anyone mans the gate midweek. You can pay online if you forgot your $27.Great spot for ski bums looking for a cheap place to stay near some great mountains.

I visited Anderson Cove Campground on two occasions last winter in our four-season camper van. It was fantastic! I can't say enough about how accommodating Bob (the camp manager) made us feel. He was awesome! In spite of it being a record snow year, he was able to keep a few sites plowed out. I look forward to returning again this winter. Question: Is Anderson Cove Campground going to be open again this winter? I sure hope so. Please advise.

No stars. Very nice and appears to be well kept. Employees are all very rude. Bathrooms are not attended to and the website and sign posted outside said $22 a night and i was charged $36 for tent camping... thats not the half of it. This was the noisiest campground ive ever been to.. road traffic all night and people yelling and screaming after dark and its almost 2am while writing this and people are still talking loud and banging stuff around..im now wide awake with noone to call.

"Hit or miss" is the best description of this place. Some of the camp host staff were friendly and helpful. Others were surly and impatient. Some knew exactly where to send out group. Others didn't have a clue and made them pay to enter.Campsite was great. Some bathrooms were great. The pair closest to our site were not clean. So good luck!Restrooms: Eww

I arrived at 8:30 am to camp overnight for 1 or 2 nights. Instead, they sold me a 20. day pass, and parking for my car trailer with kayak and camping gear and to unload it , and drive the car/trailer 300 yards from the spot. I waited an hour and went back to check on availability of camping spot, they 30 minutes, then another 45. I walked a third of the property and counted 7 open spots. They said those are reserved. This was Sunday, and now it's noon, and that's checked out. Recently vacat spots had to be cleaned prior to new campers, that part is fine. Then they said we can a spot for you closer to 2:30. It would have been nice it they said we don't allow any early check-in, and check ins are at 3pm. What an unnecessary waste of my time.

It is beautiful campgrounds but you know what the people that work here are completely inconsiderate and rude. We got in trouble two or three times just trying to go down to the beach a first we couldn't take our dogs down there okay I understood that part but our kids just want to go get in the water no we have to pay another entry fee after we've already paid for two nights going to camp and then there's more fees and more this will not be coming here again. Yeah I understand they probably deal with stupid people but you know what when we are being completely nice and they're just completely rude and the acting like we're like trespassing when we're already paying to camp made our Saturday pretty miserable.

Great place to access the Pineview Reservoir. The beach has a good north-facing view and is covered with sand, which is a favorite of the kids. There is an entrance fee, which is probably what helps reduce the crowds here compared to other locations on the reservoir. If you access the day picnic area the is a bit steeper than other places.

We love camping here. So pretty. We camp in. Large group with our friends. They don't have hook ups but have bathrooms and water. The firepits don't put out any heat so we dislike those.. playing on the shore is amazing.

This is a great place. Hard to get a reservation but if you show up on a Wednesday there were plenty first come sites that you can stay at through the weekend. Don't plan on just dropping off an RV and leaving they expect someone in the site at least every 24 hours.Dog-friendliness: It seems so, several campers here have dogs, however no pets allowed on the beachPicnic area: Several day use area picnic tables. $23 per vehicle, per day. Extra vehicles at Camp site is $10.00 per day.

Had an absolutely fun time and the camp hosts. Where to begin and end. They were running there tails off this weekend and were absolutely amazing. The sites were extremely clean and cared for. The camp areas were all clean and cared for. The bathrooms were clean to the best of an outhouses ability. Trash was picked up and always had a trash to access. I would especially like to point out Troy and his wife. I hope I can see them again soon. Our family has had nothing but good times with these two!

Glamping!! I like the set up, that's about it. We stayed in the Glamping area, the tents where nice, the beds are uncomfortable but served it's purpose. The staff... well avoid them at all cost if you can ugh they are ridiculous. The bathrooms, well that's a whole new subject!! It's gross they don't check on them and for how many times the employees run up and down the campsite with there carts, you would think they was making sure the bathrooms was clean but NOPE! The bathroom's are freaking gross!!! It stinks, there are no lights, there are bugs everywhere and again the smell is disgusting!! Oh there are no showers!

This campground is a big ripoff! The cost to camp there is way too much and no decent restrooms or shower facilities AND after paying the ridiculous fee for camping they still make you pay an unbelievably high fee just to launch your boat at the campground! I've camped in much nicer campgrounds in other states with more beautiful lakes and much nicer amenities for much less. I'll never return here. This place is for people with more money than brains.

I wish I could leave no stars. We've camped here several years now and every time we come their "Policy" changes. In the past years it's based on who shows up first to the first come first serve. Now we're being told it's based on a wait list after we showed up first thing in the morning. You know how hard it is to get 4 young boys up at 4AM. How excited these boys were to spend the Summer weekend on the lake. Only to be met by a bunch of awnry old Karen's. Our brakes were burning after the canyon we drove through so we were parked (not blocking traffic) trying to make other arrangements while the brakes cooled off, and the staff started taking pictures of us and our kids, and actually called the sheriff on us. We have a trailer behind us we can't just maneuver anywhere. I don't understand why they act this way? Is their day to day really that awful they have to treat a family of 6, with young kids that way. My poor kids were so upset at the way these terrible people were yelling at us. Shame on them! They really need to take a long hard look in the mirror and realize that all it takes is a little human decency. Treat people how you want to be treated and stop changing the policies. Also if you're going to use a booking site make sure they are up to date on your policy, it would make your job easier and you wouldn't have to be so mean to people who were told otherwise.

I love how beautiful this place is.But the staff is awful. They don't treat you like humans. More like animals you have to keep in line. They have people on golf cars going around just harassing people all day. It's not so much the reticules rules that are the main problem. It's how they treat you when they are trying to tell you the rules. Also Everything is an additional fee. So when they say $75 for a camp ground for a night. Just plan to double that for every additional thing they add on especially with parking. They love charging for parking with no wear to park.
