Go get their premade shrimp box. Awesome quality. Also, the lady that samples the food in the back is incredible. She called us over to give us some samples and was a joy to be around.

Go here for great food , customer care, and short lines. They have unique food items you won’t find anywhere else. Their homemade items are great especially any of their meats. We tend to buy all our meat and produce here due to how fresh and high quality everything is.

Love this store. Why can’t we get a store like this in East Sandy? We are surrounded by Smiths and they are horrible! Please open a Meiers in Sandy! There is space available next to the Home Depot on 9400 S and Highland Dr.

Am I even in a high enough tax bracket to write a review about Meier's? I don't think so but I did have a real, consumer experience here so I will give it a shot. Meier's makes Harmon's look like the NPS store. Several times throughout my visit here, my eyeball was an inch away from the price tag as I tried to decide if I was going crazy or not. This isn't to say that I did not like my visit at Meier's. But by far, my biggest impression, was the pricing. Upon walking in, I felt that Meier's was a very cute store. They had an assortment of prepackaged, made-in-house salsas and dips. They had a selection of vegetables. Then they had a bakery area. They also had a meat area, of course, as their title suggests. From there, they had your average grocery store aisles. Meier's is also very small. They don't have much of a selection or quantity. It seems like you would want to go here for a few specific items that you can't get elsewhere. They do carry Torani Syrups and I was able to find a Pickle De Gallo here. The Torani Syrup was 8.99, which honestly isn't bad comparatively. The Pickle De Gallo was over $12, which about shook me to my core but I wanted to try it. It is around $5 at Macey's, for comparison here. It went bad really fast so I didn't like it but I am not sure if that is because it was actually bad or not. I also got a little bag for dinner that I just needed to grill. It came with porkloins and veggies. I liked this and it wasn't too horrible of a price. The service at Meier's was pretty top notch. The cashier grabbed all of my bags after I paid--I didn't have a single bag in my hands, and she told me she wanted to take them out to my car. I have never had anyone do that before but it was pretty awesome. Would I go back to Meier's? That's a strong maybe. I would go back to Meier's if there was something specific that I needed there, that I couldn't get elsewhere. I still love this store but really, in this economy, the prices are unjustifiable.

Disappointing. Up-charging for basic brands and food qualities that you can get for a much better price at other locations. They had the exact same produce brands that we buy at other stores but for way more money. For example, cucumbers were over $2. Nothing special about it. Same with the shelved items. We didn’t sample the meats but everything else wasn’t worth it. The staff was unfriendly. Even the flowers were all half dead. Not a speciality/fine foods grocery store.

My first time in. Where have I been? I live here! What a beautiful Market! Everything looks so fresh and tempting! And when I got home and we partook, we were not disappointed. They have so many great items; not just meat, although that’s great too!If you’re anywhere near Highland, Utah, don’t miss your chance to go in and see for yourself.
