A hidden gem! My family really enjoyed our time here. Clean, sandy beach. The water feels great on a hot summer day. Perfect size reservoir for the little ones to swim, float around, and play in. Awesome playground right near the beach. There's also some picnic pavilions if you come early enough to grab one. Obviously, not a lot of shade so make sure to bring your beach umbrella or sunshade. Again, if you come early enough you should be able to grab a parking space, but parking is tight on the weekends during summer hours. So, get your paddle board, kayak, or inflatable dinghies out there! You'll really enjoy it.

Beautiful local place and amazing views of the valley! Nice sandy area, playground for kids and the water was surprisingly cool and quite refreshing. One of the few places algae free n could still get in the water!! Yayayay! So many places have closures now! ? Beautiful sunflowers ? surrounding. I wanna go back n take pix. I’ll post later. Even though the weather wasn’t that great this day, I quite enjoyed watching the thunderstorms come in ?. And free parking ? too!

Great place to go with kids who need shallow water. Parking lot is small; we were almost turned away on a Saturday mid-morning of a holiday weekend. We had to drive around a while to wait for folks to leave, but we were in. Police closed the parking lot gates after we got in.

Found this place on tik tok and it looked awesome. Our family had fun on the beach and even got in the water. When my husband got out of water, his legs were covered in leeches. That instantly tainted this experience for me. Cool place, but I thought people should know.

I like this place the only bad thing that some people brake the rules, there's a sign that clearly says no dogs in the beach not even in the water or on a leash but don't get me wrong I ain't got anything against doggy I'm a doggy mommy too! but it's about respecting the rules.

Who knew this place existed? Tucked away in a residential neighborhood, this reservoir has some beach areas, a play structure for the kids, and water to swim in. Limited shade, so plan on bringing your own or doing without. Family friendly and patrolled by the police. Felt safe. Parking is scarce and the neighbors get cranky if you park in the streets by the entrance, but if you can't snag an official parking spot, you can park on the back side of the reservoir and there is a paved walking path that leads to the reservoir. Maybe a five to ten minute walk depending on your pace.

Nice big beach area, bathrooms and a playground. The view is nice. There are good picnic areas. There will be better shade once the trees grow in . A great paddle board place if you want to let your little kids go out by themselves.

It was awesome, it was a lot of people, the sand was like being in big pebbles.Parking was a little tough. It was a small dirt devil that came through and picked up tents.Plan on bringing tie-downs and something to hold your tents down.Very family-friendly.

We like to go for walks around the reservoir weekly & even hike up the trails that run behind it sometimes. It's kind of in our backyard...so to speak...so visiting it has become a big part of our lifestyle through part of the year.

Beautiful place to play near and in the water. Beach has as much gravel as sand, yet it's clean and fun. Playground is a fantastic addition and pavillions are plentiful with attached trash cans that are emptied often.

This is a great place for all sorts of outdoor activities. I’ve paddle boarded here. Today I mountain biked. There is a park play space for kids. There are picnic tables. The beach is awesome to lay out in during the summer. I will be back with my son to take advantage of all this area has to offer. Highly recommend.

Looking for a swimming beach in Salt Lake County? This is a small reservoir, but has quite a large beach. Swimming, paddle boarding, sand castles are some fun activities. There is a playground here as well. Public restrooms. Dogs are allowed on the grassy areas but not on the beach or in the water. There are some covered pavilions with picnic tables too, but not a lot of grown shade trees. Took the kids here to swim this week in the hot July sun and had a great time. We made sure they all showered when we got home; the water wasn't dirty, but its a small reservoir and it's not a pristine mountain lake either.

This place is great in the summer. Arrived around 9am and was able to secure a pavilion. It was nice to be have shade through out the day. Kids had fun digging in the sand and playing in the water.
