We stumbled upon this little gem today and could not have been more impressed. Tim was so kind and incredibly knowledgeable! It was such a pleasure to talk to him about fly fishing- it was clear that he is passionate about his work! We are definitely going to book a trip with them next time we come to town!

I had the best time! Jerry was the best. I’ve always wanted to go fly fishing and he was so patient and kind. We had the best time. He took his time and explained everything. He was super helpful and kind. Thanks Jerry! You rock! 10/10

Great fly shop. Very well stocked, great vibe. Tymothy had lots of great information on where to fish, what was working. Even pointed us to places that were easy to access as my wife has knee problems.

I fished with guides in MT, CA, UT, WY and TN and I can tell you the guides @ Fish Heads Fly Shop are the Best!!! They will always get you into fish…BIG fish! Excellent all around service and a fully equipped fly shop!

Had an epic day with Jerry floating down the Lower Provo! He was an amazing rower and guide. Learned so much about fly fishing and caught so many big fish. Definitely will go again with Jerry!

We had an awesome day fly fishing with Jerry!
He gave my son his first lesson on the Provo river and it was super fun and relaxing. He chose a spot that was very beautiful with great views of the river and nearby mountains. The session included all necessary gear and clothing. He was very knowledgeable, patient and kind.

Had a phenomenal time with Dan on a 1/2 day excursion! First time ever fly fishing for my wife and me. We found it to be relaxing, intuitive, and frankly , just a great way to spend time outdoors !
Dan was a great coach- he encouraged us and gently corrected our amateur errors. He has the patience of a saint ! He was so good that I got this guy right at the end of our day ! 20” or so and +4lbs - definitely be back !

Been in my fair share of flyshops over the years. Most are good, some are really tough. Fish Heads is awesome, great people, great selections, always feel welcome and they share a good level of info for their local waters. If you’re ever in the area flyfishing, support a local business and stop in the shop…you won’t regret it!

Fantastic experience! Jerry and I walked down the railroad tracks over the bridge, slid down the embankment and walked across the river against a strong current only broken by Jerry’s lead. Jerry was so relaxed, filling me with pointers along the way. I could hear him quietly coaching me as we caught and released rainbow, browns and whites. Anytime the fish got quiet Jerry had a different fly ready. It was amazing how he knew what would interest the fish. Every time we tried another fly we’d get a hit. His knowledge of fish and their diet was extensive. He went so far as to pump their stomachs and would analyze the different insects. Of course the big one got away but not before Jerry had a good look at it. He said it was 16”. I guess I’ll have to come back and finish the job. Thanks again for a memorable experience.

The guy with the long hair and long beard was the nicest, most helpful, most enthusiastic fly shop employee I’ve ever encountered. Super knowledgeable but didn’t make you feel dumb. Fantastic fly shop.

Great guided day on the Middle Provo with Drake and Sammy, organized by Fish Heads. My wife and I spent a full day with Drake, who took great care of us. We caught a ton of fish and benefited from Drake’s extensive knowledge of the river and very relaxed manner. Highly recommend.
