“James and team saved us not once, but twice. We were visiting on a road trip from Houston with three husky and husky mixes, and our AC gave out, which would have been dangerous for our dogs in the heat. They were able to fix it same day within an hour of arriving. Second issue on a different day during our stay, our alternator gave out. They replaced it and got us back up and running within an hour and a half. We were worried these repairs might have ruined our trip or affected our planned drive back to Houston, especially since another shop we called said we would need to leave our vehicle all day for the AC issue and they weren’t sure they could fix it same day. Instead, our trip was hardly impacted and we made it back to Houston safely on schedule without any vehicle trouble. They could have upcharged us and instead charged reasonable rates and clearly explained everything they were doing and why. Thank you so much from our whole family! Our dogs had a nice cool ride back to Houston thanks to you all.”

“We were visiting Heber City for Labor Day and we were on our way home when our vehicle started making horrible noises and leaking fluids. Not only were they open on Labor Day, but within 2 hours they took a look at the vehicle, diagnosed that it was a damaged belt that had broken an AC hose, and replaced the belt so that we could get home. On top of that they only charged me $100 parts and labor. They were great!”
“Without question, the nicest guys around.Was in a pinch and the service center at my cars dealership could not get find a spot for two weeks... nobody wants to drive around a car that is not 100%.Carey and crew came to the rescue and although they were also booked out, Carey was able to get some extra stuff done on the weekend to open a spot for me Monday morning. “I was on a long road trip when my brakes started getting hot and smelt as if they were over heating. I took my car in the next morning and I was so thankful for Travis and Heathers help. They made me feel at ease and assured me they would have the team do an all around safety check. After the check was complete, they showed me my brake pads and rotors and assured me I have plenty left and will make it home safely. I had them do a routine oil change and tire rotation while I was there. They did not try to upsell anything that I didn’t need. The team completed the safety checks quickly, but with the highest detail. I made it home safely from my road trip, and I am so thankful I took the time to stop and get my vehicle checked out. “Had them replace a water pump in my F-150 2017. I had been losing coolant for awhile and had been unable to figure out where as it was not pooling anywhere. They figured out the issue. New water pump was installed but happened to be defective out of the box. They got my truck right back in and put another new pump in. This time with 0 issues. Thanks again!”

Apparently I got a $ deal on the mounting bc I bought the tires from Walmart.Best part is that they noticed a problem, took pictures of it and pointed it out to me when I picked up the truck. “The sliders I wanted were on back-order and took a while to arrive. However, this was made clear when I placed the order, so I went in eyes wide open. The team was communicative every time I reached out, and when any major updates occurred, they were proactive in sending an email with the status.
Once they arrived, I had my sliders installed on-site, which was incredibly painless and absolutely worth the extra cost. The entire team was warm, pleasant, and definitely knew their stuff. The parts are solid, and the install looks great!
Look. I've read a lot of the other reviews, both good and bad. There may legitimate complaints people have, but let's face it: Rocky Road knows off-roading. I'd take that 10 times out of 10 over a company that excels at "excellent customer service" but sucks at the off-roading part (customer service ain't doing jack when you're grinding on rocks in the back-country). If you want a solid product from people who know their stuff, this is the place to go.”

“Absolutely amazing experience, 100% recommended!! My husband and I had been wanting to try snowmobiling but never got around to it. I coincidentally found Lofty Peaks through a flyer at our hotel and was instantly drawn in by the fact that they advertised true backcountry adventure, not a lame bumper to bumper tour like others. I emailed to inquire about booking for the following day and Jhannel gave me a call right away, assisted in the booking process and gave us a great deal on a private tour. This was truly a bucket list activity, we had an absolutely incredible time. JP was an excellent guide, we couldn’t have asked for anyone better. He showed us how to ride, took us to some breathtaking backcountry spots and just let us rip, riding and playing alongside us. We’re so happy to have gotten exactly what we wanted which was true snowmobiling letting loose and shredding in powder. Thanks again Jhannel for your kind service, we come skiing to Park City every year and I can say we will for sure book with you guys again next season. We hope to get JP as our guide again next year as well!”
