When heading west make sure you max your charge here at Green River. It is 106 miles to Salina, and there is literally nothing between Green River and Salina. Large stretches are uphill and it burns energy quickly. I'd recommend at least 200 miles range for 106 actual distance. (On a flat road, at 70mph, we get about 3.3 miles/kWh in our ID.4. On this stretch from Green River to Salina, with its steady climb, 70mph plus speed , and wicked headwind on the day we were traveling, our mileage dropped to just over 2 miles/kWh for this leg).

The app says #2 is the only 350 charger but charges at 30 along with 1 & 4. Number 3 was getting 90 for a short time with a Volvo and port 3 got over 100The taco food truck east of it is good and has bathrooms. The coffee shop was closed at time of use. This location has a windshield cleaning section and garbage bin

No line, no waiting on this day AND as an added bonus Green River Coffee provides a squeegee with water for a quick window clean (love that!), also a trash bin to get those snack wrappers out of the car! No complaints on this visit.

You have to stop here. If you didn't have to you wouldn't. The coffee shop has kind of reopened post pandemic but is an oat milk kind of a place. If they are closed the only bathroom is in the public park round the corner which is as sanitary and clean as you would expect. When we called only one charger was working and only at 35Kw, so made for a 83 minute stop. Thankfully we were early and none else turned up. I'm sure it was a real party later in the day.

Clean and all were working. Coffee shop was nice, and owners were friendly.

Only one charger was working. I called to report and was told they had just been reported as someone was charging on the 350 and it short circuit leaving it dead along with the 3 others. This being the only charger for non tesla cars for 100 miles i would think they could get repairs on it immediately. Line of cars were waiting on this one charger. I would have given 5 stars if they would maintain this set.
