Got my first deer this year. Took it to Watkins. Was told it would take 2 weeks. It has now been 6 weeks later. My husband even called a few weeks ago to check up on it and was told they were just about to start processing it. Fast forward to today, we get a call from a different butcher telling us our deer had spoiled. We had no knowledge or consent to it being dropped off at a different butcher shop. The new butcher told my husband he was not pleased with how the deer got dropped off and thinks Watkins took on to much and tried to pass off his mess onto someone else. I will never take anything to them again. No communication, no accountability!

Just stopped in and grabbed a couple of rib eye steaks. Great marble of meat and fat for a delicious dinner. Home town meat ? grown local. Farm fresh is the best! I'll be back. ?

Worst meat cutters we have ever dealt with had 2 hogs done they didn't even cut per order did what they wanted ruined all the bacon didn't cure what we wanted bad very bad wouldn't ever send anyone to them 2 hogs totally ruined and they basically said to get screwed in there own words. Don't go there go to someone else.

They butchered a hog for us. Very impressed with the sausage and deli meat returned to us. Affordable prices and great customer service. They were even accommodating of our request to keep the leaf lard, head and organ meats.

Honest and friendly people. As a first time owner bringing in a steer I had lots of questions and they were so patient to answer and take care of my needs. Highly recommend!

Watkins Custom Meats is the best processor I have ever been to! They did an amazing job on our beef we took to them recently. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and with our cow only being 600 lbs we still took home ten full boxes of meat home we now have a full freezer and had a great experience with Watkins and will definitely be returning in the future! Thank You Watkins Custom Meats!!!!!

We had 3 beef butchered and made all the meat into hamburger. Total amount of ground beef received was extremely short. Although I don't have proof except the hanging weight compared to total lbs of hamburger received was extremely different. There is a sense that the butchers may have kept the prime cuts of meat and didn't put it into hamburger. Can't recommend this company. We've tried to talk with the owner and asked him for information and he has chosen not to return our calls.

We have raised our own beef for 25 yrs never have we had so little meat with a whole beef. It cost us $800 dollars more than years past for cut and wrap and an extra $1000 in grain because they moved our kill date out 2 months. To top it off not even a full freezer full of meet. Not happy with this new place wished it was still Triple S. We are going somewhere different next year. Not great service can’t keep up with what they schedule and after we dropped them off to kill it took a month to get our beef back. I would advise you to use a different butcher. Our cows last year were 100 lbs less heavy and we could barely fit it in our freezer. This year the hanging weight was 100 lbs more and I have an empty shelf in my freezer.

Excellent experience. Took an elk there to get processed in Oct 2021. They did am amazing job. These are relatively new owners, so disregard any reviews for the former business owners. This family business is amazing.
