This place is so on point and in character with where it is located. I've driven passed this place so many times and I'm kicking myself for just now stopping. We entered to find two cowboys sitting at a table having a coffee break. We struck up a conversation with them and had a nice chat about Francis and the new construction going on in their area. It was perfect. They were really nice guys and made our visit even better than we expected. The cashier/cook was an incredibly lovely lady that was easy to chat with and who made a killer hamburger. The decor of the place was probably the same that it's been for twenty years and the same that it'll be for next twenty years hopefully, And I mean that only in a positive way. The food was super fresh and tasty as could be. We got the bacon blue cheese burger and damn it was nice. It seemed like fresh meat to us and the cheese was real and good fresh chunks of blue cheese. We loved everything about it. We couldn't have liked this experience anymore than we did and I'd urged anyone coming through the area to come in and relax and have a burger and chat with some of the super nice locals. Rad place!

Their burgers are FANTASTIC... Been here a handful of times. Definitely come here if you are in for some hamburgers. The meat is brought in fresh every day.

This is the best ever secret place for the best burgers EVER! The gals at frontier know how to cook and they do it RIGHT! Perfect atmosphere. Simple menus with something for everyone. Local boys club hangs out here and they are awesome! They have been in Francis all their lives and the stories they tell are priceless!

Amazing! We were driving through and we saw the sign said best burger in town and we figured it was the only burger in town but when we stopped in and had a try we were amazed! Delicious burgers!! Karen is super nice and the food is amazing be sure to stop and grab a burger!

If you have never heard of Francis, UT, now is time for you to go if you are in the area and thought this was a very small sleepy town in the mountains...Frontier Cafe is a must visit!!! I was not looking for a burger but not knowing much how long it would take until the intersection of hunger + lack of restaurants nearby collide, I thought: Ok, lets stop here and have a quick bite.From the outside I thought it was a tourist-trap (not that many tourists abound there) but once I noticed it was only locals and this was like the real thing with John Wayne photos and revolver and all the Americana you can get I had that feeling of stepping back in time to the Wild West era.This restaurant/store is very charming but even more the older lady who seems to be the owner/chef/seller/everything in between. It feels homey, cozy and I was even tempted to ask for a family photo album (after seeing wedding pictures plastered in the walls too!). Just to get into the history and all that. Burgers were great, meat was awesome, thick juicy burger with potato salad (and potato chips too!). They claim 'best burger in town'...not much competition I guess, but level of satisfaction: 10.

Love this place! We stopped by and had a burger and a BLT and a couple beers and the service was awesome (very homey), friendly and the food was really good!! Will definitely come back.

I'm from Longview Washington and last year I drew a rifle tag in the canvas unit and ate there at that place and the everybody that work there was just absolutely top-notch food was top-notch and before I left I had some Blacktail backstrap left from my hunting Washington and I gave to the owner of the restaurant in appreciation or such a warm feeling to an out-of-stater

I stopped in today to have a burger while I was out on my motorcycle. Not only was it one of the better burgers I’ve ever had at a restaurant but the owner and her family treated me like they have known me for years despite having never met me. I’ll definitely be going back. Good food and a super cute gal taking care of you. What could possibly be better!?
