I was told it would take 30 minutes to open a business banking account and it had to be done in person. It took 1 hour. I was told I was all signed up for online login and would get a temporary password. (red flag right there, why do they have to sign you up for online login shouldn't that happen automatically or I can go online with my account info and enroll?) Never got an email, so I called the online banking support, spent a half hour for them to say they said they couldn't help me, I needed to call the branch. The branch said I had to talk to a manager and the manager wasn't in and they were not sure when she would be back but she would call me asap. No one ever called me back. Finally after hours on the phone I got enrolled to get online. To then find out that half of what I needed to do can't be done online and I would need to go into the branch to fill out forms, why didn't they do all this when I went into the branch to get signed up? And why in 2021 can you not do simple tasks online especially after Covid where everything went online. Closing my account and going somewhere else. This bank is not for someone who wants convenience and online capabilities. Also I was told I needed to call someone to have them sign me up for edelivery.

Angela helped us set up an account quickly so my son could make it on time to work. She was personable and professional, and pointed out important information that he would need to know to avoid unnecessary fees on the account.

I had the Utah state tax commission garnish my Zions Bank account. Apparently Zion's bank has a policy that a $100 fee is imposed in such cases. This was a mistake and the charges were reversed by the Tax commission However, even though the charges were reversed, Zion's still saw fit to charge me the $100 fee. I spoke to the bank manager and she referred me to her regional boss Zack Nelson. I spoke to Mr. Nelson directly and though quite professional he was adamant that because this was not a "bank error" that the $100 bank charge would not be reversed. Of course I thought this ridiculous as it was not my fault and though not the fault of Zion's they certainly have the power to reverse the $100 fee if they wanted to. And that's my point! Zion's could reverse the charges but they won't. Horrible customer service move! I'm quite sure if I had $10,000 sitting in my account the charges would have been waived immediately but because I barely scrape by and never have more than a couple hundred bucks in my account they chose to impose a non Necessary fee. $100 means nothing to them, though for me it's the difference of whether I can buy my daughters birthday gift. Thank you (not) Zion's for being sensitive to your account holders who are struggling financially.

They charge you a five dollar fee for cashing a check that’s from their branch. That’s literally stealing money. No other well established bank does that. Don’t not take your money to this conservative run establishment. Grocery stores only charge 3 dollars. Pathetic. Beyond unprofessional
