“I took my 2004 diesel pickup in for oil, fuel filters, batteries, and multi-point inspection. A few minor items were identified and addressed. The service was performed the next day and I picked up my truck. Josh was great to work with, he explained everything, answered my questions, and the price was very reasonable. Truck feels better with tires rotated and brakes checked on top of other items. I am really enjoying my old truck again. Thanks FTS!”

“Really great service, they did a transmission on our sequoia which were on national back order, which I confirmed by calling multiple Toyota Parts departments. Somehow they were able to get one in a week and get it installed.
They also did a starter on the same car about 11 months later.

“I called Precision to get a quote on a new windshield. Then I called two other businesses and got quotes. Precision was slightly higher than one. The next day, Olivia texted to see what I had found out. I told her the other business was $25 lower. She texted back and beat their price by $25. She scheduled a mobile repair the next day. It was done in one hour. They are very efficient and I will definitely use them again.”

“So I had an unexpected damage tire from a piece of shrapnel while parking at a job site in the Layton area. I had very little to no time once off work to figure out how to make it to the Layton Big O tires before they closed and I literally made it there with 10 minutes before closing time. I communicated with the shift manager Taylor throughout the day. He was very accommodating and understanding threw the whole ordeal and a big huge shout out to Jace and Ruben and Taylor as all three of them teamed up to help get my tires replaced as fast as possible even though it was past their closing time. Truly, Lifesavers.. and not only that, just for extra fun, my starter started acting up leaving Big O tires so I was again In a position of being stranded.. Then Jace and Ruben came out to my truck while they were leaving to go home and stayed even longer to help me fix the starter issue. And thankfully it was fixed.
I couldn't be more grateful for those guys. They were very courteous, understanding and extremely helpful in my time of need. Many many thanks to them!! Y'all rock!!”

“I come from a long line of of mechanics. I however am not a mechanic. I had a relatively simple issue, just time consuming in a cramp location. A busted nut on a alternator tension arm in a honda fit. The guys got it fixed up in a couple hours and charged me fairly. I'll definitely be coming back.”

I've been to Chesty's five or six more times since I left my review below, and everything I said below is still true and then some. These guys do the best job, are the fairest, and are the most honest repair shop I've ever been to, and I've been to many.

Chesty's is a different kind of auto shop. Honestly. The three attributes that make it diffetent in my eyes are:
1) Honesty
2) Skill
3) Service
Honesty - You can *know* that Chesty's will never suggest a part or service for the purpose of upselling you. They honestly don't roll that way.
Skill - Miguel is a *great* mechanic, and he hires other excellent mechanics.
Service - Miguel provides truly great service to his customers, the best you'll find.
Besides providing service to customers, he provided it to our great country as he's a veteran, in fact, asva Marine. I am as well, and the shared experience of hell, er, Marine Corps boot camp, ensures there is a strong bond of respect there.
I'm 71, and Chesty's is the only auto repair place I'll be using for the duration.

“I accidentally bricked a Subaru that needed to be driven the next day during some late evening attempted maintenance. I was able to tow the Subaru to Vera's at nearly 9 pm and I was met with quick service, empathy, and zero judgement. He was extremely patient with me and I felt comfortable and informed during the whole process. The Subaru was fixed and ready the next day at an extremely reasonable price. I will be coming back for all my other car repair/maintenance needs.”
“The price was a little bit high. Not too much high for what work they did. I received the vehicle back and not all the bolts were tight and um, they sent me on a rollercoaster, told me he was junk told me it wasn't until they finally figured out what was wrong with it, and I had to pay for all that. But overall, the people there are great and I had a good experience. They got it running like I wanted. I had to finish fixing it, but oh well”

“Over the Holiday weekend, our car unexpectedly died on us. We knew it was getting time for a newer car and had planned replacing it next Spring. Fretting what to do now, and fearing the worst repair, we decided to take it to Burt Brothers in Farmington to get it diagnosed to see where we stood. I called on Monday and was told, they were out till Wednesday. We ended up towing our car to the shop and dropping it off Monday night to wait at the shop to be looked at.
Tuesday, I got a call from Travis at Burt Brothers, who not only told me they got my car in a day early but also confirmed what we had expected, that our car had experienced a catastrophic internal failure which caused the timing to be thrown in the engine and our car to crank but not start. Travis was very honest in telling me that they could tear into it, but also cautioned that his shop did not have all the specialty tools for our car and that the job itself was very labor intensive and would cost a significant amount. He referred me to another shop with more knowledge and said to call them to verify the labor they were quoting at Burt Brothers and for parts.
After verifying with the other shop, we confirmed what Travis had quoted was accurate and that the repair was going to cost more than the worth of the car. Not only did I greatly appreciate Travis's honesty and integrity by not getting us into a financial situation not worth it, but the generosity and customer service offered by not charging us for the diagnostic time spent looking at our car. Although a small gesture, it meant the world to us during the holidays and having the unforeseen financial burden of now having to shop for another car. Saving us a couple hundred dollars was very generous and much appreciated for our family! Travis didn't have to comp the diagnostic fee, we willingly brought our car in and were expecting to pay for the service we asked for, but chose to do so anyway! I've used Burt Brothers over the last several years for service and will continue to go back!”
