We are a natural grocery and mercantile, nicknamed “The Merc” located in a historic building on Main Street in Escalante, Utah. Extensive selections within the store feature all types of natural and organic items including fruits and vegetables, meats and gourmet cheeses, milk alternatives, and many gluten-free brands. We have hiking/backpacking foods for sports and health enthusiasts. Asian, Thai, and other ethnic offerings make The Merc your oasis in the desert! We also have a full service coffee bar and cafe. We have fresh baked pastry items and a hot breakfast options such as a sausage egg and cheese bagel or breakfast burrito. We also prepare fresh lunch items daily for you to grab and take out on your adventures.
