Had a great two night stay here. The room was spacious and well equipped. The grounds are lovely. Lots of outdoor spaces to hang out in and the view looking north from the back porch was beautiful. It was quiet while we were there which was refreshing. We’d definitely stay there again.

Always a nice room. Free laundry facility with detergent included. Escalante is centrally located with a lot of stuff within an hour. It is at higher elevation so while Zion is 107° it is only in the 90’s by afternoon near Escalante. Beautiful scenery and hikes all along hwy 12. Go to Nemo's for a burger and ice cream. You have the only pub along hwy 12 within a 3 minute walk.

We really enjoyed staying here. It’s a very nice place and dog friendly. We had everything we needed and the staff was very nice. They gave us tips on where to visit. We decided to stay an extra night since they had the space and really enjoyed our time here. Would definitely stay again and have recommended the hotel to others.

We had an excellent stay here! The rooms are very spacious - they seem more like an apartment than a hotel room. Even the bathroom was super spacious! Everything was very clean, and we felt right at home when walking in the door. There is an outdoor patio for each room with lounging chairs, and we really enjoyed sitting out on the patio at night and admiring the views. There was also a grill and a fire pit to use. When we had a few minor issues, we had no problem contacting Terry (manager), and he was able to address and fix them right away. Couldn’t have asked for better service! We would most definitely stay here again!

The Good, The Bad, and The Weird
The Good:
Very clean and modern style rooms. Large bathroom with good toilet paper, not the kind that feels like sand paper.
The room included an electric kettle, a jar of snacks, a pour over, microwave, mini fridge, local coffee, and a set of kitchenware/utensils.
Laundry was free with provided detergent.
Good location right on the Main street
The Bad:
The TV only had a dozen channels. Kinda disappointing because I was looking forward to watching the NBA playoffs. There were local news channels and then some random channels I’ve never heard of. The channels were also laggy. If you’re paying $200 you should get satellite TV.
They only have eight rooms so there’s a good chance they will be fully booked on weekends
Wifi was noticeably slower at night when everyone was back using it
The Weird:
When I approached the front office there was a VERY strong odor of marijuana. Seems like I walked in at a bad time. They gave me a quick 30 second rundown on the hotel and sent me on my way.

We were blown away by this little place. Plenty of outlets, pour over coffee with hotpot, local coffee, tons of coffee supplies, a 2pc set of nice dishes, silverware, and glasses, a larger than normal hotel fridge, a full size trashcan, a fire pit out front that Terry lit for us each night, containers of q tips and dental picks, oatmeal and multiple snacks, and local art in each room.
Rooms: It had everything we could've imagined we needed, bed was super comfy, lots of windows
Nearby activities: Escalante stuff! Slot canyons, petrified trees, hiking all over
Walkability: The whole town is walkable with sidewalks and is flat.
Food & drinks: 2 great food/beer choices are a 2 minute walk away. Escalante outfitters Pizza is insane, 4th West pub has fantastic food and service, live music some nights.

Great, clean, and cozy place to stay less than an hour from Bryce Canyon. They had a lot of little "extra" touches all over the room that really made it feel like home. Nice toilet paper and tissues - not the thin stuff you'd normally find in a hotel. They had all kinds of toiletries such as band aids, room spray, q-tips, dental floss (individually wrapped), ear plugs, and eye masks. They also had a jar of snacks available, cups, plates, bowls, and silverware if you were eating any food. There was a roll of paper towels available and also a few packets of instant oatmeal and a variety of teas to make. Some of the rooms are pet friendly and they had a blanket, pet bowls, and treats available. They also had a note that they would arrange to let your pet out mid-day if needed while you were out for the day. There were also grills available if you wanted to grill. The blinds were also great for blocking out light if you want to sleep in a bit.

The managers are Terry and Wendy. Terrific customer service. Great value for the money in terms of location, lots of extras and special touches such as free snacks in the room, artisan coffee and an architectural design maximizing comfort. I think this is the best place in town. A wonderful find. Rick and Doris

We stayed at this little gem the beginning of July and it was wonderful. From all the little touches and details to the sculpture made on site by the mgr. The Bed and linens were sinfully soft and to sleep in the bed was the best we slept the whole trip. The only con of the place ,we didn't get to stay longer.

Lovely pet-friendly, cottage-feel hotel to stay at in Escalante. Wendy was a great host. It’s in a central location that’s walkable to a few restaurants across the street + the main “strip” of downtown Escalante, but tucked back enough from the main road that you don’t hear any road noise.I enjoyed the contactless check-in, & the little touches they had for my dog. The electric kettle, local coffee grounds, & pour-over/drip coffee maker was great to have in the morning. The beds are a little soft/squishy, but otherwise the place was cozy. The patio views were probably the best perk, especially at sunset!
