New store manager Henry was extremely helpful and courteous when he helped us get us the right color of paint after a previous associate had made a mistake in mixing. Excellent customer service and communication!

it's small but you can find everything easily and the customer service was very friendly.

Henry the store manager, has very poor customer service and handled a return policy terribly, as well as his communication was rude and disrespectful. His whole reason for not allowing the return, was because we didnt have the packaging and wouldn't return it. When I called customer service before coming in and was told that i would receive an in-store credit due to no receipt. He also discussed his approach and how he was going to handle this return with another customer saying "he would argue with me all day, but he would not allow the return". The item was a table that had damaged upon opening, and was bought 24 hours prior.

Your hours are terrible. Why open at 6:00 and close at 9:00, especially in the summer?

Wouldn’t accept a return with receipt from another Ace. Absolutely ridiculous. Won’t be coming back

I've lived in the area for about 6 years, and frequented Ace Hardware many times. I appreciate having somewhere close to buy hardware related items. However, I've been frustrated with the following:1) Lack of selection on items. 60% of the time I end up having to drive into Home Depot to buy what I need. I can't complain too much though, because this is a smaller store will limited shelf space for inventory.2) Prices are generally higher than the big-box stores. I get it, you pay for convenience.3) Staffing is a problem, both in quantity and quality. I get it, these are tough times and it is difficult to hire the talent that you need to run the store.4) The last straw for me was deceptive pricing. The last 3 visits, I paid closer attention to the price on the sticker versus the price I pay (check your receipts!!!). I highly recommend taking a picture of the price on the shelf for use when you check out. From my experience, about 80% of items are higher-priced in the computer during checkout than what the sticker shows. For a few cents I won't say anything. This most recent visit, I was charged double ($5.00 for a $2.50 item) and 10x ($3.59 for a $0.40 item). I didn't realize it until I got home and checked the receipt. This was unacceptable, so I had to drive back in and show them the problem. They tried to work with me and reimburse me. I should have paid closer attention during check out, but the bottom line is that their pricing on the shelves should match the pricing in the computer. I'm sure that their prices have gone up and they don't have the staff to update the stickers, but this most recent experience was too much.Going forward, I will have to be more careful watching for this problem, and I recommend that you do the same.

The return policy is non-existent and I’m pretty sure every item in the store is priced wrong but it’s a good little store when you’re in a pinch. I think they know the nearest Home Depot is 30 minutes away.

Waited for 30 minutes in the paint department while they guy tapped away on the computer just to tell me he didn’t know how to mix a paint sample hahahahaha what? I was so confused. Isn’t that why you work there? Nobody in the whole store knew how to mix a Benjamin Moore sample for me. I was shocked and so annoyed. Would have rather him just tell me he couldn’t than waste so much time probably googling how to do it.

Frankie was extremely helpful! He helped us figure out the best tools to buy and took a good amount of time answering questions and showing us different products. I really appreciated his extra effort!

Small town hardware store so it won't have everything and prices are a little more expensive. Also, IT DOES NOT CLOSE AT 11! I think it closes at 9? However a very sweet employee let me grab what I needed really quick and was able to check out at Ridleys.

So much wasted trips looking for something simple only for them to have it out of stock or the selection being limited. Their prices are always mismatched. So many times I’d check out and when they scanned the items it’d be much higher than it was labeled.

Went back to do a return, had to argue how I didn’t need the part’s anymore (unused). Was so frustrated I told them to throw the products in the trash, should have done it myself knowing now they likely restocked the shelf with them.

Rare possibilities you won’t find it!If I can’t find something I look for an employee and they’ll find it!I love to go for screws and fasteners. You can find the right one and in the quantity you need, instead of buying those little bags or boxes with the quantities you don’t need.
