I came across the store in the American Patchwork and Quilting magazine. The building is beautiful, great selection of fabric but…customer service was not good! I walked in really to buy fabric! I wasn’t really greeted, I walked all over the store looking at fabric. I never asked if I needed assistance. When I did an ask a question about a pattern I was told, “Well, that class, you have to take class to get the pattern! No offer to help me find the pattern. The ladies behind the counter were more interested in phone order than customers in the store.

I love Quilter’s Lodge! I drive a little further just to come touch the fabrics, visit with the lovely staff, and buy more fabric than I can possibly quilt in a few lifetimes! I’ve even driven there in a snowstorm just to feel cozy and quilty!!! My quilting friends and I had a retreat at the lodge which was PERFECT! The facilities are beautiful, and we loved having immediate access to a shop when we needed something (you also get a 10% discount when you’re staying at a retreat, so of course I needed 10% more fabric!). I love that the lighting in the work area is amazing, and there are plenty of outlets. (If I could change any two things, it would be to put in nicer office chairs that roll in the work area, and maybe have a few step stools available to provide unusually short shoppers easier access to the amazing selection of fat quarters stored above the bolts. I often have to ask other shoppers for help reaching a FQ if they are shelved tightly ?.)

This place was fantastic. I stayed there 2 days and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. All the staff were so nice and so helpful. I can’t wait to come stay again

Purchased a small amount of linen a couple of years. The transaction was okay but I cannot get this company to stop sending me emails no matter how often I unsubscribe or delete my "subscriptions" to newsletters that I doubt I subscribed to.
Update: 12/1/2023 This company still won't unsubscribe me.
Update: 12/14/2023 This company still won't unsubscribe me and now I am getting phone texts. This is absurd.
Company does not follow requests to unsubscribe. My next email will be to the Better Business Bureau. This has been going on for a few years now. Do not do business with these people online. Your service won't be that great, and they will haunt you. I have blocked them from my phone now, and emails go to spam. Why can't they be reputable?

Uh... WOW! We almost missed the building because it is NOT your typical brick and mortar store. Very lovely shop with plenty of quilting space for classes. High prices but also very high quality. It was overwhelming for this novice quilter.

I am so disappointed! I spent over $300 at this quilt shop last weekend. Discovered that an item I had purchased was defective....an $80 rotary cutter. It was skipping. I tried to take it back and they would not accept the return as they said it had been opened (duh!! How else would I have know it was defective?!?!) They replaced the blade and sent me on my way. Later, after a phone call to complain, I found out that they knew this was a defective item that they sold me anyway. They wouldn't accept my return because they are planning on not reordering the item. I am furious!! I will be attending a quilting retreat this next week with 50 women and will be sharing my experience so the ladies will not have to experience what I experienced. There are several other great quilt shops nearby that I am sure will appreciate my business.
