Ari was an absolute rockstar! I came into the store with little to no idea what kind of shoe I was looking for to use for my upcoming marathon. She gave me useful insight on shoes, inserts, and electrolyte gels. They also have a 60 day return policy (on everything but gels) I tried on 16 different shoes and got to test them all out on their in-store treadmills which made me confident in my purchase. Though you could probably get a better deal on shoes online, I found the in person assistance and ability to try the shoes on a treadmill to be invaluable. Truly amazing service and I look forward to coming back for my next race!

Fabulous store when it was Wasatch running. Salt lake running company won't let you test the shoes on the sidewalk just outside the store. Running on a treadmill is not the same thing. Won't by shoes here. Lousy return policy.

I can not say enough about this place! I had bought some running shoes from the Altra running outlet store & had little to no help. I picked some shoes & after 3 runs on the trail I had knee pain so bad I didn't think I could run my Half Marathon. Which I never have knee pain running on trails. I knew I could only exchange these shoes within 30 days & needed an expert to look at my running. I went into SL Running explained the situation & they took about an hour putting me on the treadmill, watching my running on video & helping me to see what was going on with the Altra running shoe & which shoe would be best for me knowing that I most likely wouldn't be buying from them- cause I had already bought a running shoe & was stuck using the other company. They still took all the time in the world, answered all my questions & were absolutely AMAZING!!! If you have any running questions please go to them! Customer service was impeccable & I will be buying from them in the future! I think it was Rachel who helped me. :) 100

Went in just recently looking for new running shoes as I begin training for my first half marathon. Rachel is who helped me and she was so friendly and knowledgeable! She was able to find the perfect shoes for me and even let my 5 year old help in the process. When we left he said to me, “Mom, whenever you need new shoes because your old ones don’t work, can we come here? I liked it.” He said they have “magic tools”. Long story short, we’ll definitely be back for all our running needs.

Been coming here for a couple of years. The staff is really knowledgeable and helpful. My husband gets his shoes and insoles here each time. They do have some good clothing for women, I do wish they had a bit more variety.

Rachel helped my husband find his best fit. The treadmill testing helped us realize what was important, and she helped him understand what they look at in a shoe. She was so patient and spent a lot of quality time with us. They have a children’s area to play while you shop around which is extremely helpful. Thank you! A wonderful experience.

Store looked busy with many customers and yet I was helped within 5 minutes. Without hesitation, Emma brought out four different types of shoes after speaking with my indecisive self. They have treadmills that you can't test your shoes on, had a lot of selection, and are indeed pet friendly. You have a great policy that definitely won't bring me back to the store: If you spend $250 you get money back that you can spend at the store again or online. Pretty great store store! I was definitely impressed

This is the second time visiting SLRC. I am always amazed at the level of customer service there. The staff gives you their complete focus and expertise, and I walked away with the exact running shoes my body needs. Raymond was especially helpful today with recognizing my specific running needs and was able to get me my perfect fit. Now I’m ready to start speeding up my race time.

we had the best experience getting fitted for running shoes. Anika was SO helpful and super easy to talk with. She helped me pick the perfect running shoes that i definitely would have never chosen on my own, but i love them!

I always enjoy visiting SLRC! Shoe selection is nice but higher end ASICS would be nicer. :-)Service is great and they allow your input into what you want instead of “forcing” a shoe/product on you that you don’t want. Erik was very helpful. My first run in the Endorphin Pro 3 did not disappoint! Looking forward to my next visit there!

Great experience. Julie helped me find some great shoes for all-purpose gym use. My physical therapist recommended some specific shoes, and she sized my feet and arches, and checked for how I walk, and recommended three pairs and some arch supports. Probably the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever had.

This is an awesome store! They have everything you need, recovery tools, half tights, hydration pack, and shoes! The staff is full of experienced and knowledgeable runners. I am returning to the running world after a 7 year break and this is my go to stop for marathon training supplies.

Always a great experience going to buy my shoes here, I'm greeted when I walk in the door and I tell them it's time for a new pair of Hoka shoes, then the AWESOME experience begins. They show me all my option , and they are always very knowledgeable of each shoe style!!?They carry top quality shoes and they last me about 2 years, which is a great bargain when you compare that to other name brand shoes that I used buy around twice a year. Give this place a try next time you need shoes ?
