Upon my latest checkout I was sitting in a lobby chair weak from food poisoning. The immigrant from India was not willing to bring my deposit to me. Yes, right there in the lobby he was too lazy to return my deposit to me. Either I had to come to the desk or I'd forfeit my deposit. Against my will and over my objections he sent the maintenance man to get my bags. A bag of human fecal matter was placed in one of my bags. This maintenance man has put his hands on me on at least a dozen occasions. Some of these incidents meet the criteria of assault & battery. At check in the maintenance man moved my bags and was carrying my sign around. They have another employee with a rage disorder who is about 90 years old. They both think I'm there to answer their questions. I am not. Choice Hotels told their biggest lie ever: "Compensation has already been given."

The beds are so worn down and flimsy. I switched rooms 3 times because most beds were worn out. I finally got a bed so stiff it felt like sleeping on the floor. The owner needs to put some work into this place. Also there are some shady characters hanging in parking lot so remove everything from car. The repair person who works here sits in parking lot smoking and watching people get in and out of cars he is very creepy. I also had cleaning service trying to enter room with do not do not disturb sign on door. It happened a few times which makes me suspicious as to what they were trying to do. I was in a room all the times they tried.I also had them waking me up multiple times with do not disturb sign on door. The jacuzzi was dirty had mildew around edges. Too many shady characters staying here and working here.

This place would be so much nicer if they'd go to Costco and replace the lights in the pool's ceiling. It could be a lovely pool & spa. Warm water walk into the pool. Also grab some bleach for the pool lip and just a few tile replacements. A little goes a long way. Otherwise, a little noisy with the highway traffic but not bad.The real gems of this hotel is the water slide behind it. Closed for the season but looked fabulous, Aquarium is directly across the hwy, & The Black Bear restaurant across the parking lot. A must eatery if in the neighborhood. FANTASTIC food & service. Also located near many of the usual shops if you need something.

high value place to stay while visiting family. clean & comfortable. Nice & quiet when water park closed. Facility starting to show it's age. Staff very helpful. Restaurants easily within couple minutes walk. Will stay again when in the area. :-)

Price was inexpensive and the rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The front desk folks were friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay.Rooms: Clean and comfortable.Food & drinks: Breakfast was good with variety to choose from.

It's clean but understaffed, and the cost cutting measures aren't pleasant. The toilet paper is literally thinner than any tissue. You would blow your nose. The toilet paper is literally thinner than anything you would blow your nose with, it was so uncomfortable! They also give you a very minimal amount of towels which are also thin and don't absorb much. We had a handicapped room and the way the shower is designed the water goes all over the floor. There were barely enough towels to dry ourselves and safely walk in the room, no floor mat provided. And the water in the shower wound up cold as ice, one out of three of the days because of repairs in the system, but no warning was given to the guests. Last, if the hotel is even close to booked, there will be no parking in the parking lot, and you will have to walk across the street in the snow from the upper level of the parking garage.
