Horrible customer service. Holier than thou attitude. Couldn't even have a conversation on the phone because the man was so rude.

I read the reviews but this was the closest place and I needed to get my elk Head Frozen asap before it started losing hair for taxidermy. My elk weighed in at 430 lb and after it was processed I walked away with 230 lb so I was above 50% which is awesome! I have zero complaints about these guys they did it fast and were honest with everything. The one thing that sucks is the taxidermy is currently 1.5 year wait. But it's okay because the house I live in I have nowhere to put this elk Head so I have a year and a half of free storage LOL.

One star is too good for this place please look into this place and you will see they are shorting you big time so they can use what they say is uneatable to sell for dog food. I took a quartered elk that weighted in at 350 lbs and got about 100 lbs of meat.

They did an excellent job on my Elk I got but I didn't realize I was gonna get Sticks instead of actual Jerky wish I would have known this before but to late now but they do excellent work. Can you just get Jerky instead of the sticks.

Do NOT bring your game here to be processed!!!! These people are absolute crooks in my eyes. They gave me a roughly 30% return on a fully dressed buck mule deer. 114lbs dressed and I got back 38lbs of boneless. I brought in a nice buck mule deer that weighed 114lbs gutted, with no head, skin, or legs. It was a perfect specimen, heart shot through rib cage, no shoulder or rear shot. Killed the evening prior, gutted perfectly, wrapped in game bags and ice in cavity. Drove up the next morning nice and cold and fresh. Asked for the regular steak cuts, focused on maximum amount of steak cuts and grind what is left over and add beef trim to ground. They told me they guarantee my animal back since I’m not doing jerky and just doing ground and steaks. (They don’t give back your actual animal for jerky she told me, come to find out it’s also ground as well that’s not your animal) Was told to expect 50% return(even though 60% should be expected on a nice specimen that’s headless). So that means I should have gotten back 57-68lbs. When they called me to come pick up my deer 3 weeks later I came in that evening and they handed me one crate. I thought it looked small and asked how much boneless meat they gave me and they wouldn’t give me an answer, as I’m holding the crate. They looked at my order form that had the recorded dressed weight (headless, legless, hideless) which was 114 lbs. he said I should have upwards of 55 lbs in my hands. I took his word for it (foolishly) and when I went home and weighed it, was surprised to see I received 38 POUNDS total. 16 pounds of roasts, steaks, and loinsteaks, and then 22lbs of ground. 38-POUNDS TOTAL return. That’s about 30% return rather than 50-60% return like it should be. Considering how perfect condition this specimen was, nice and fresh and clean kill, no shoulder or rump shot, Should have been given 57-68 pounds, 20-30 more pounds then they gave me. They were closed by the time I weighed it so I drove back the next day and all they would do is offer me a refund for 170$ I paid and to LET THEM KEEP MY DEER. They walked me through the meat freezer to show me I don’t have any other crates and I saw a very large amount of crates of unlabeled ground deer. I asked what those were and he said that’s everybody’s ground deer and told me that they actually don’t give your actual deer back for ground meat either. At that point they pretty much told me they can’t help me and wanted me to leave, after I thoroughly explained I’m not happy with a 30% return on my CLEAN perfect dressed hung animal. I will learn to butcher my own game from now on. I have shot way smaller deer *through the rump* and gotten 20+ pounds more meat from other butcher shops. These guys make me sick, do not support this place. TERRIBLE customer service and completely dishonest about what you’re paying for. Carson’s in Lehi was a much better butcher.

Bull elk - 5x6, quartered out with bone in and hooves attached - meiers recorded my total animal weight for all 4 quarters plus neck roast/backstraps to be 175lbs! Which comes out to less than 40lbs a quarter with bone and hooves attached??? Yah right. It’s processed and packaged nicely. Just don’t know where the hell the other half of my meat is. I got back 70lbs of meat processed from a decent size bull elk. Won’t be going back.

Always find it interesting that managers respond to positive responses but ignore the negative ones. Those (negative) are the ones they SHOULD be focusing on. Just an observation.

After the deer hunt none of the game processors closer to home would even answer the phone. Meier's was courteous on the phone, allowed me to drop off my deer quarters right away and they were all very polite in person even though they were way beyond busy. I got my jerky back within the time frame they stated, the amount was more than I expected, and both of the flavors I chose are delicious and done to perfection. Thank you!

I though these guys did a great job on my Elk. I was surprised by how much I got back. I dropped off 4 quarters and loins and grind bag. One front shoulder was shot I thought it would be a complete waste. I really like the vacuum packed bags. I'd love to use their service again.
