The store is very ascetically pleasing and a really nice place to browse. I've never been offered help by anyone who works here though, which really stands out to me as I'm new to keeping plants and have looked VERY confused in the store multiple times. Other people I've chatted with have had the same experience.

I just took a class in how to learn to arrange bouquet of flowers. I did learn some new technique. I now understand why the employees that work at Cactus & Tropicals are so quiet. Casey the instructor doesn't like to be questioned. The flowers I purchased for the class aren't $85 dollars worth flowers. The flowers that were used for the class were at least a week old. Then where the class was being held was right over a loud blowing HVAC unit. I could barely hear any of the words from the instructor. The class is not worth $85 dollars.
I'm giving a crap review because I was given carp flowers and rusty tools to work with. The only positive part of the experience was a 20% coupon for anything in the store. At the end of the class Casey said, "Okay you can leave now." What shit customer service. I thought about buying a $600 dollar bonsai tree but after today I'm taking my business elsewhere.
Whoever was in charge to setup this class they didn't put much thought in how to conduct the class. I would have made the class more cozy and more inviting. Good Luck!

Definitely the best plant nursery I have went to. Expensive but worth it.
Got Arp Rosemary here.. the cold hardiest variety of rosemary. They have much more varieties of plants than the other stores.

Stopped by the other week. First time visit. I wandered the store and noticed plenty of unoccupied employees but no one seemed eager to offer any help. I made eye contact with several but they were quick to turn away and ignore me. I left without buying anything.

I bought cactus soil here to repot my 7 year old cacti. It was supposed to be the right kind to allow drainage. I followed the recommendation of the worker that day and the repotting went fine. One month later, no watering until yesterday, and they both have root rot like the water never drained after the repotting.They’ve been living in the same spots for about over three years now just fine. All that has changed is this soil.I’m really heartbroken because I have had these plants in three homes, I have repotted both before, and they are just really important to me. I was using regular soil from my garden before and y’all told me that was wrong, so I just wish I had never trusted this place.The worker suggested some ways to try and save them (cutting the rot and letting it callous over before replanting), but it’s really desperate.*Edit* It's about a week later. They are both dead now.

Love this location, everyone is always so helpful. I've learned a lot from the employees, and have received good advice for my plants. HOWEVER, I'm frustrated with their returns policy. I made a large purchase, and came to return extra planters and unopened soil 8 days later from my purchase. I was informed I could only get store credit, and not my money back! I find it frustrating because no one informed me of this (even when purchasing, I said I may have some returns), and it doesn't mention anything about that on the receipt about store credit after 7 days. Please update your customers with these changes, or even just do the curtesy of putting it on the receipt!!!

I needed a special arrangement for a loved one. Cactus & Tropicals has always come through. Natalie was amazing. She went above and beyond sending me images of the pots available also the final product. The recipient kept saying it was a stunning arrangement...stunning. Thank you!

Love this place! Environment is beautiful and tranquil. I shop there for annuals in the spring, house plants, pots, and holiday bulbs there in fall. Here is the amaryllis bulb in the pot I purchased last month. The variety is Magical Touch. Was a gorgeous healthy bulb and now it’s 30” tall with three stems of 6” blooms coming in.
