I absolutely hate this vet clinic, and would never recommend. The vet is very unprofessional and has a bad temper. She twisted my words, accused me of things I didn't do, and lied. When I tried to confront her and clarify the situation, she completely lost her temper and behaved very immaturely and unprofessionally. I had a bad experience with them even before visiting the clinic in person. It was during a phone appointment. After all this, the vet had the audacity to write me a disrespectful letter and mail it to me. I hope she felt better after that.
Additionally, they tried to overcharge me for procedures my pet didn't need. They knew I was new to having this type of animal, and also that I couldn't afford the expensive treatments they were suggesting. They also pressured me by offering to surrender my pet to them as I couldn't afford the treatments. I felt guilty for not being able to afford the treatments they suggested and taking her home. But it turns out, my pet only needed an antibiotic and pain medication, and the issue resolved on its own.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend this clinic and I would give it zero stars if I could. Since then, I avoid going there for any exotic pet emergencies.

Wasatch is the most knowledgeable, helpful, and skilled exotic vet in Utah. I could not imagine taking my rats anywhere else, I’ve been going there for nearly a decade! Dr. Harris and the staff are the best! I’m very grateful for the relationship I have with them.

Professional and compassionate! My ball python, 4’ 8” - 10+yo, was seen by Dr. Harris and staff today. Catered to all of my concerns and knew exactly what is needed to get her well again. A special thank you to the crew that stayed after closing to help teach me how to apply her medication properly & answer more of my questions.

Very few places can care for guinea pigs and these guys can. Although I lost my sweet Penny, they were knowledgeable and gave me straightforward communication. They were very compassionate when the time came to say goodbye to Penny.

My Guinea pig Maya was acting sickly And I was having a hard times getting her in anywhere as she falls under the exotic pet. They fit her in same day And the front desk was so patient And kind with My múltiple calls. Dr. Harris was upfront And honest but showed compassion that My Maya was very sick. I had to put her to sleep but the dr and office staff were great start to finish. Maya was returned to me today so I could bury her. She was wrapped in a blankie in a sweet box And I was given some of her hair in a little glass bottle. I recommend this office highly. Thanks again!

I brought my leopard gecko, Stitch, in to Wasatch exotic pet care because he was having some health issues. I was really really worried about him, and it seems that getting treatment for a reptile is much harder to come by than for a dog or cat. I brought him in this morning and it was the absolute most wonderful experience. Each staff member I spoke with was so so kind and their care is genuine and shows. He was treated by Dr Dickerson, she was just the kindest human. The team took such good care of him and got him completely back in shape. They also left me with tons and TONS of helpful information and tools I can use to keep him healthy in the future. I will absolutely recommend this clinic to anyone I know with exotic pets.

We owe Wasatch Exotic Pet Care and their talented staff so much for taking such amazing care of our animals over the last decade plus. Never had a bad experience, always feel like our animals are treated with care and compassion with their best interests and health in mind. And as owners we always feel heard, and well informed of our animals health and needs. Have taken our house rabbits, snakes, and leopard geckos. Have always received fantastic care.

This place shows what true care looks like. Throughout my experience bringing my bearded dragon to these guys for a couple years now they are nothing but helpful, kind, patient and understanding. You can truly tell the people that work here love and care about the animals they work to help.
