The deep fried artichoke hearts are absolutely phenomenal! I love the Taos burrito and I love to add sausage to it!! The sausage is sooo tasty! My boyfriend is gluten free and he loves the backcountry as tacos(you can make any burrito on the menu into tacos or a bowl) which makes it gluten free! It’s so so so good and the owner is kick a$$!!!!Thanks BaseCamp Kitchen!!!

My only complaint?…. Basecamp Kitchen not having a a brick-and-mortar location!!We discovered Basecamp Kitchen last spring at the SLC farmer’s market & have quite literally eaten here every time we come to the market. Despite the fact that they operate out of a food truck they somehow manage to provide a menu that’s bigger than some physical restaurant’s menu's. They also offer gluten free & vegetarian options which can often be hard to come by in SLC in general, but especially when it comes to food trucks.I could keep word vomiting, but really if you want good food, good people, & good vibes Basecamp Kitchen will always be the best choice.

Base Camp has been at the Wheeler Farm Market for a few years now and as a regular to the market, I frequently have breakfast with them. Their food is great. I love the specials they do with fresh greens from other vendors. I highly recommend adding a fruit berry smoothie to any breakfast order. This is a regular stop for me after I do my produce shopping. Highly recommended! :)

I've been going regularly to the Wheeler Farm Farmer's Market in Sunday for the past several years and I'm a huge fan of Base Camp Kitchen! The products they make are all fantastic and it's really just a matter of what you prefer to eat for breakfast or lunch when you are there.Julie is a great chef and very creative at putting together delicious specials most weekends. Part of her specials usually involve microgreens, mushrooms, and any other healthy, fresh ingredients she can find from other vendors at the Farmer's Market. Base Camp Kitchen supports local farmers and businesses while providing a quality service to Farmer's Market visitors as well as many of the vendors at that Farmer's Market!Julie also puts great care into customizing the orders to the desire of the customers. She's very attentive to the orders that keep rolling in and often busy as heck trying to keep up with all the orders every Sunday morning. Hannah and Alex are fantastic at taking the customer's orders, communicating them to Julie, and serving the food when it's ready. They also make really delicious berry smoothies, which I highly recommend for those who aren't vegan or lactose intolerant.Base Camp Kitchen is a great team collaboration of talented and passionate staff and provides customers with a quality product. I highly recommend them to anyone visiting the Wheeler Farm Farmer's Market on a Sunday morning!

Tasty but I got the black diamond and my burrito was for real 90% eggs. Just some bacon and potatoes on the ends.

Ordered two bfast burritos at the farmers market.. not super friendly and asked for a tip verbally which always makes me feel a little uncomfy. That was all fine until we got our burritos and they were nothing special at all. They were mostly egg which were not super fresh. Barely any bacon or potatoes or cheese.. no fresh veggies and no side salsas or anything added. Also waited a half hour and they didn't seem super busy. Again, everything would have been fine if the burrito wasn't so expensive and SO basic and plain. 0/10 would not recommend at all. Wish I would have checked the reviews on yelp before buying.

It's an okay burrito. I HATE that they ask if you want to leave a tip. Really uncomfortable

Went to the farmers market in SLC and got their Vegan burrito… AMAZING. Most places when they offer a vegan burrito they give you just the plain basics and it’s never great . This burrito you can tell was really thought out in what flavors to add . Will definitely come back !

Got a burrito at wheeler farm today. waited a very very long time for our food. They put cooked food on a table by the window and it sits for a long time. I noticed our order was half prepared with my burrito (the bunny hill) sat for more than 20 min while our other burrito bowl was finished. I got very very sick within an hour. I will be filing a health complaint with the health department. The worst part is we had to wait for over an hour with the line and slow service. This burrito is not worth the wait and I don't recommend you support this company. Vote with your dollar.

First off, this is definitely one of the best breakfast burritos that you'll find in the valley. I've lived here for 24 years and this is hands down the best one I've had that didnt cost more than $12. That being said, the add-ons are pretty pricey. How you charge a dollar for extra beans man?

Best breakfast burritos in town! You have to get here and fuel up your hike, bike, or ski outing on your way up the canyon. Check it out!
