took the 3-hour tour with Joe and Allie and had a fantastic time. The tour covers an beautiful, enormous private area that our group had almost completely to ourselves. The snowmobiles were brand-new and ran great. Very professional operation, and we appreciated both the knowledge and the patience of the guides

Had the best snowmobile tour with Gage! We had never been before, but decided to ride on individual snowmobiles for the 3-hr trip because they suggested it for a better experience and it was worth it! Gage made the whole experience easy and a ton of fun. If it hadn't started to get cold in the evening, we would've wanted to go again. Go on a awesome tour with Gage!

The snowmobiling tour was exactly what we were looking for while visiting from out of state. A small group with a friendly guide made us feel comfortable and safe. Gorgeous backcountry scenery. Great fun while on both the trails and open meadow! Highly recommend. We will be back!

Exceptional! If you visualize a triangle with the three points as Adventure, Cost, and Safety BackCountry Snowmobiling hits a sweet spot perfectly in the middle!I have done a bunch of “adventure tourism” and some questionable recreational pursuits. These exploits range from North Atlantic Technical/Deco diving to flying at 5000’ above the beach of Punta Cana in Dinghy sent aloft by the combination of a rotory engine and a hang glider wing.So the review in three parts, ala classic story telling; the characters, Allie and Gage, our guides. Allie a guide that would fit right in with any crowd wearing an infectious smile with a contagious laugh and at the same time a person that you know you could count on if things got sideways. Gage our guide watching everyone’s six while being in the following guide spot. Gage is a guy that is on lucky people’s list of phone favorites as the one guy that whatever the situation he will be there to help, know what to do, and not ask how the car ended up where it came to its final stop. The rest of the cast is made up of nine supporting actors from a the eastern seaboard a mix of couples, families, friends and a father son duo (that’s us). The setting is 45,000 acres of private sheep and cattle ranches in the high country 45ish minutes from Main Street in park city. A blend of snow covered ranch roads, high mountain meadows and forested single track trails that made for a 26.7 mile trip with top speed in excess of 55 mph.The plot nine people all strangers to most of the team that will be playing the game today. Everyone simultaneously picking their path, is it man and machine, man vs machine, man vs nature, or the end result everyone found man and machine in and with nature. We saw moose and I am sure you will too as this sighting for us was 2 for 2. Allie explained the rules of the road while on ranch roads and single track while hopefully enabling us to avoid having her assemble her packed snow shovel. We arrived at a high mountain bowl with a meadow laid out like Talladega and Watkins glen conspired to make a snowmobile race track. Here Gage laid out the rules of engagement to keep us safe in a voice that belayed the wisdom of someone who may regret things they have done but certainly not things left in-done!With all seriousness, BackCountry has a stable of very well maintained sleds in excellent condition mechanically and aesthetically, the guides were great in every way informative, fun, and safe, and the setting, it’s Utah high country with 10’ of snow base. What’s not to like! Will come again.

We booked a four person excursion for 3 hours. The staff was helpful in getting us suited for our ride. Our two guides were meticulous in explaining how to use the equipment, how to stay safe, and what our trip would entail. It was a breath taking experience in the beautiful Uinta back country. Highly recommend the experience.
