They even did a timely follow-up on extra research for the disease state of my dog to see what extra measures could be done. “Love this place. BUT One lady tired to say I had to have my cats teeth cleaned for 330$. First she said if the vet wants it then it will be done…even though that’s up to me. I told her no thanks cause the vet said they were already clean and didn’t need it. Just felt like I almost got tricked cause she didn’t highlight it as optional on the paper but highlighted other stuff.”
“We have been coming here for years seeing Dr. Hyde. He is very straightforward and extremely nice. He explains everything extremely well. They are very affordable and don’t do a lot of unnecessary procedures running up your bill. We went through 3 other vets before finding him. Better late than never I guess.”

“This vet is very compassionate and allowed me some alone time with my pit bull that needed to be put to sleep due to losing the use of his back legs. They also gave me full details about what to expect throughout the process. I was able to get his remains in a beautiful cedar box and some momentos to keep him alive in my life. “I have never had a single bad or even just "okay" experience with them; whether over the phone or in-person, it's always been great and I 100% trust them with my pets. Staff is always kind and professional. They all seem to be happy and compassionate employees. I never really wait once I'm checked in. I was shopping for a place to neuter my dog and felt nervous due to certain risks associated to any surgical procedures, and Animal Care West was the only place I truly felt confident and at peace, and I called MANY vets and had done quite a bit of research before deciding to go with them. “All 3 vets here are lovely people and so good at their jobs. My entire family uses this clinic, and have never had a problem. Our dogs love Kolste, and he’s done a fabulous job of helping our dog with his anxiety. Miller is so attentive and compassionate. Wiedmier was very reassuring when my kitten had a lump, and didn’t dismiss my concerns. We just had 4 kittens neutered and Miller and techs took excellent care of them, and even provided extra support when our boy was feeling a little dumpy after. The techs are incredible too and it makes for a great experience. Good people all around, who will take good care of your pets:)”
