A little under a year ago, I brought my car here. I'd seen nothing but good reviews and they were close by, so it wouldn't be expensive to tow.I brought the car to them with only one issue, got it back with twenty more. I took it to them again, just to be told the motor was now blown (wasn't blown when I brought it in) and I needed a new one. Kapp charged me twice as much as any other shop I've talked to since would have. Not only that but they were not communicative at all- I had to call to get literally any updates about my car. I'd be told it'd be ready on a specific day, then multiple days would pass after that day and I wouldn't hear a word.I finally got my car back a month after I agreed to install a new motor (which I had been told would only take a few days, by the way) and it's been nothing but problems since. The "new" motor they put in the car had RUSTY spark plugs in it, leaks oil, and I found that my harmonic balancer on the new motor was loose. Three days after I got the car back from them it already had a check engine light. I haven't said anything until now because I was trying to be nice and just let it slide but I found more and more issues with things that should have checked before sending the car back with me and I'm just done.I have no idea what the hell went wrong with my car in their hands, but I would never recommend this place to ANYONE after all this.

After being told I'd have a 2 week wait to even look at my car at a different shop I called Kapp. They got me in and my car fixed that very day. Everyone was helpful and friendly. They even offered to stay open to make sure I could pick up my car tonight.

These guys will scam you out of your money... A loose nut on a sway bar link to be tighten cost me $100 is outrageous. They'll also hold on to your car for 9 months, and won't get back to you, about what's wrong with it. Go to Midas they're a respectful and fair price shop. I REPEAT DONT COME HERE, OR YOU'LL PAY THE PRICE.

Frank initially helped me out with an estimate for my Chevy Cruze. I needed a new thermostat, water pump and window regulator for the commuter car. The price estimate felt reasonable for parts and labor. The turnaround was very quick. They kept me informed throughout the process. We sent our car to get fixed to Kapp auto care for a small accident involving a front wheel that hit a curb. The mechanic did a great job, the car runs well as expected. This was an insurance claim through our auto insurance. Our deductible was 500 for the claim and Kapp auto with their lack of experience in dealing with third party payers were paid directly from the insurance company cashed all their checks agreeing to do said work for the contract amount and then proceeded to charge me $700.11 for the job. If you’re paying outright for the job these guys might be pretty good to deal with, but if you have an insurance claim beware you could pay a lot more without getting reimbursed from your auto insurance company. There seam to be much more reputable auto shops out there that have more experience. In their defense Kapp is fairly new and maybe are just managed poorly. Hope they get better, and hope the Insurance companies don’t send people there anymore.Services: Steering & suspension repair
