made an appointment with Lowes (they are subcontracted for warranties) for them to come out 1/2 between 8 and 12. They called at 9:15 on 1/2 that they would be out between 12 and 4. When I got upset they hung up on me. I called back to confirm they would still be coming of which they did confirm. 3:45 I called an Noone answered. Called lowes back and filed a complaint and requested follow up as I feared they would not show. 4:15 I called again and they finally answered saying my appointment was moved to Thursday. I told them I was confirmed with this morning and they said th best they could do is come out tomorrow. This has now cost me an entire day of work worth more than $300. I work in a nursing home as a PT assistant. So, now my 20 patients that were supposed to be seen today will not be seen and are missing out on care because this company decided to move my time without consent and then move my day without consent.

They were supposed to repair my refrigerator I had a protection plan through Home Depot. However they refused to do the repair because my abusive ex decided to call and tell them not to do the work. Now they refuse to do the work. Worst company ever!!!!! They help abusive jerks continue to abuse!!! WOW!!! Let’s just keep that cycle going!Service: Refrigerator repair

Sears Home warranty uses them. My appointment was between 1-5. The Tech never called or texted to keep me informed on his progress. I called your number and low and behold it was ALWAYS busy. From your reviews it's hard to believe that your THAT busy. What is going on? I would have given ZERO,

This company was assigned through the home warranty. Dishwasher kept tripping the breaker 20 minutes into the cycle. Repairman never tested it, only said it needed a new jet pump. Jet pump was installed a week later. However, the problem persisted. Two weeks after installation, the jet pump had sagged off its support bracket causing a leak and damaging my basement ceiling. I then had to call my warranty service back who decided to send out the same person who didn’t know what he was doing. He ran the test cycle for 2 minutes and said the dishwasher was fine even though it keeps tripping the breaker. Not sure how that’s possible since it trips the breaker on 3 separate outlets connected to different breakers. However, because he did not know what he was doing, my warranty provider made me hire an electrician just to confirm there was not an electrical issue with the house. I called the electrician who confirmed there is no electrical issue with the house and that dishwasher is the problem. So now I’m having to work with the warranty provider to hopefully send a different company out that’s competent. If this company is assigned to you, demand a different company. On the positive side, the company was on time and easy to reachService: Dishwasher repair

I know when people are frustrated they jump online and rant and rave and I totally get it. Being in the property management business I work with a lot of repair companies and have had my fair share of frustrations. TA was contracted through an extended warranty on a Samsung fridge 18 months ago for me and not only diagnosed the issue, he also had a solution to an ice problem that the freezer was having, ordered both parts and fixed it on the return appointment for the repair.. Was polite, professional and informative about what he was doing..April 2022 They are back for another issue that we had the diagnostic appointment, and I wasted the techs time when I missed his call and left waiting until he had to go to another appointment. He had showed up about 10 minutes before his scheduled window, so props for being prompt..and they were 100% polite in rescheduling for the next day.. So thumbs up,, I have had 2 very good experience with this company with 2 different techs.Service: Refrigerator repair

Wish I had read reviews before we got them. They came through our home insurance company. Pretty much didn't do anything. Not only did the guy not sound at all confident, but he said he checked thing when he obviously didn't (said he checked the disposal but he didn't even run it), (said he tried cleaning but we watched him do it and he just poked at the hose with a screwdriver for 5 seconds). Don't ever use them.

I just got hung up on by one of the staff. She was very rude and disrespectful. She told me not to talk when she was even though she did that to me plenty of times. I was even on the call with my warranty company. I thought she was done talking and tried say say something when I was yelled it then I apologized and said I thought she was done. And to let me know when she was so I wouldn't accidentally interrupt her. Then she hung up on us. The technicians are good but staff is horrible.

They cancel appointments without your knowledge. Promise call backs that never happen. Transfer you to 4 different people and never explain what is happening, so you just end up explaining yourself over and over again and not getting anywhere. I’m being forced to use them and have already paid them or I wouldn’t be doing any business with them.

Agree with other comments about Total appliance service being a scam. They came to my home, looked at refrigerator said it would cost $500 to repair and departed. Never touched refig then I get a $106 bill with a threat to send me to collections if not paid immediately. Another company looked at refrig saw the problem was thermo set too high and fixed the problem immediately. No charge... Avoid Total Appliance Service at all costs... they are the worse...

Scam artist company. This company was late, rude, then had my warranty company decline the repair. Then they called me and tried to sell me a new a system. This is literally bait and switch. They know the warranty company would pay them less for the work. So they get the warranty company to decline the repair. Stay far away.

Don't waste your money or time. All they do is lie. The reviews say everything. This is the worst company ever. It took several phone calls to speak with the owner, Roger because he just stepped out, he will call you back in an hour, he went on vacation, he is out sick. So after they stole my part and no refund, I am still out $400 and my refrigerator still does not work. So I called Samsung and I was able to get a small refund.

Samsung fridge, 3 years old, cost $3800, it stopped cooling. Paid for a consultation...it was determined the fridge needed a compressor. Paid for a compressor install... It worked for a minute then died again. i still don't have a working fridge. Called to find out what's next, they said the fridge can't be fixed. Thanks for all the appointments and the time and money I spent to have the fridge fixed. Nice folks, but they gave up on this fridge with no follow up, no rebate offer, no real explanation.Service: Refrigerator repair

I had Total Appliance Service Inc. Assigned though my home warranty for my water heater. I had read these reviews and was a bit nervous to have them at my home. The initial diagnosis took a little longer than I had hoped for. I called the office and the girl explained she wanted a properly qualified tech to come and that was the soonest day. I accepted. They arrived on time as scheduled. The tech Jason, put booties on the make sure as to not track anything on my floors. He did his diagnosis and discovered a leak, advising I needed a new water heater. This was a Friday late afternoon. He explained he needed to get authorization from the warranty company be reassured me they had the water heater in stock and would be able to replace it the following week. That Monday the warranty company advised me of the portion of out of pocket expenses that would be expected. I questioned some so I called Total Appliance Services. The individuals that could provide me answers were in a meeting but I was promised a call back before the end of the day. Less than an hour later the OWNER called and we when over all the expenses and made adjustments as needed. The next day they showed up and replaced my water heater. He was about 30 minutes outside of his time framed but did call and provide clear expectations.
