Bought my car mid-April and thought everything was great! Soon after my car started going downhill and the engine light even began flashing while I was driving it. (I had never experienced that). The engine light has popped on four times since I got it and has been flashing once already. I told them before I bought it that I needed a reliable car because I am now halfway through my pregnancy and they kept reassuring me it was. But not even two months into having it my car broke down and filled up with smoke while I was still inside. I had to tow it because it would no longer start. Now the mechanic is telling me not only is the radiator broken, but I have to have my head gasket replaced and possibly the engine too :) I have only had to car for two months and I am paying a car note on it. Now I have to wait a few weeks for it to get fixed. I say all of this to say just be careful— they do indeed seem like really nice and honest people!
Update: It has been a month and a half since my cars been in the shop and hundreds of dollars in public transportation later! I get it back this Monday/Tuesday. Head gasket, radiator AND the engine needed to be replaced. I was blessed this happened while I still had a three month warranty. To say that is horrible though because having car issues of that nature within the first month and a half is terrifying. I throw over a thousand dollars into it already on repairs despite the warranty due to uncovered labor costs. Just buy somewhere else, you won’t regret it. Blessings ??

My husband and I purchased a vehicle from this place in April of 2023. First red flag: It had problems on the test drive, burning oil or something kind of smoking coming off the engine area, but they assured us that it would be taken care of before we purchased it.
In hindsight, we should have never gone through with the purchase but we were looking for a commuter car and were told it would be fixed.
We purchased the vehicle a week or so later after it appeared to be in “working” condition.
Next red flag was when it kept smelling of burnt oil. We called them and they didn’t seem eager to help but sent us to their own mechanic shop. My husband took a look at this “work” that was done and it appeared that a cap was replaced and that was it.
A couple months later, the car got worse and worse, eventually spewing oil everywhere.
We took it into a professional dealership after some time, where they confirmed that the head gasket cover was messed up and the head itself. Thousands of dollars later….
In hindsight we should have trusted our gut and we shouldn’t have gone through with the purchase but we trusted what we were told and wanted to believe the best.
Although the person helping us seemed nice, we truly believe that the problems with the vehicle were known and not fixed prior to our purchase or disclosed.
I do not recommend this place!

John and his Wife where just AMAZING!!! Very Helpful I went in to look a a Vehicle I was interested took it on a drive and Loved It!! The Purchase process was so Quick and Easy. Definitely recommend.

This place is the worst. Don’t ever buy a car from here. Last spring I got stranded in Cedar city when my cars transmission went out. I had three kids with me And was trying to get Home to Salt Lake City. The guy at the dealership sold me a lemon of a car promising me that there were no issues with it and it had been fully inspected. It has been in and out of the shop five times in the last year. I have a loan on this car and I have paid more in repairs than I have than it’s worth. Do not buy from these guys.

To say owning your own business is hard is a massive understatement. I can't even imagine if that business is auto repair, considering you're only ever dealing with people on their worst days. I understand any mechanic who sets good personal boundaries and values their time above all else. Which is why I'm completely astounded by how outstanding Chuck is. We found ourselves in a "worst case scenario" - blowing a transmission while towing a trailer for a cross country move with our two dogs. Chuck helped secure our trailer after hours the night we found ourselves in his parking lot after running into him by chance, and despite having a ton already on his plate, he got our diagnosis the next morning, and located a few new transmission options shortly after that. Unfortunately, we couldn't wait for the repair or afford the additional week stay in town. Which means he wasn't going to end up getting our business for the repair. Most people would probably send us on our way and leave us up to our own devices at that point, and from a professional standpoint they'd have every right to. But that didn't prevent Chuck from continuing to go above and beyond to ensure the items in our trailer and our vehicle were all safe, make himself available countless times over the course of 48 hours as we sorted out swapping our cargo trailer for a U-Haul truck and an auto transport for our vehicle, including helping us load it, return our original trailer, AND even offering us rides in the process. When all was said and done the time he spent versus the compensation he required were widely disproportionate. I can't stress enough how good and kindhearted of a guy Chuck is. If I could afford it, every time I had an automotive issue I would fly him to wherever I was, put him up in the nicest hotel, pay for every meal, and all his time and work -- and it would be worth every red cent.

What an amazing place! Bought a battery at autozone, but they couldn't put it in because I have a hybrid vehicle. They recommended Southern Utah Car Care just up the street and I went. He was so incredibly friendly from the get go, he helped me right away and put my new battery in. When I asked how much I owed him, he told me not to worry about it. Just an overall amazing place, absolutely recommend for any car issues. Definitely better than the Walmart!

We bought a 2019 Mitsubishi mirage for 13000$ from these guys when it had 40000 miles it now has 53000 miles and the car is amazing we have kept up with all the maintenance we’ve driven it here there and everywhere and best part we got it for a great deal thanks to these guys.

The sales were great, John was an awesome salesperson, this place used to have a bad reputation until it was turned around by John, I would definitely recommend this place for first time buyers, it was my first time buying a vehicle, and John was helpful in explaining many things that I did not understand, I would highly recommend this place, i would like to thank John for his time.
