Didn't get a chance to use them due to unforseen circumstances (police activity on highway day of move made it impossible). All my interactions with them were positive, professional and productive. I'd recommend them any day.

I wouldn't give them even 1 star. Maybe a negative 5. They came to our house to give us a quote. They saw 90% of our boxes packed in the front room. So hardly any boxing at all. Just moving them to our new home and the furniture. They gave us a quote and left.said they would call the next day. No call. So we called and called and called! We finally got through. The woman owner finally answered. She apologized for not returning our calls. Explained that she was at a school recital. She said she would call when she would be home. Still absolutely nothing! Good thing we weren't in witness protection. We did all of the moving ourselves

This company moved us locally from Cedar City to Enoch, less than ten miles on 8/21/19. The only reason I am give them one star instead of zero is because their two guys did the best they could with what little training they got and they worked hard. It was their third day on the job. My husband noticed they had no clue how to even load and assemble the furniture in a safe and fitting way into the truck. They didn't use blankets to wrap my precious wood furniture pieces. We have moved many, many times and even cross-country three times and this was by far the worst experience we've ever had. No other company has ever damaged our furniture, which we have had for many years. We only had S Utah Movers move our very large and heavy furniture pieces, which included a 70 year-old dresser, which they damaged. They dragged my incredibly expensive custom-ordered sofa across the floor, which was by this point very dirty from the foot traffic, plus they had already taken the plastic wrap off my sofa. They damaged my heavy, ornate armoire that they could barely lift. It nearly leaned into my brand new construction wall because they lacked training on leaving themselves space to properly lift it up onto its lower piece. In fact they blocked themselves in on each side so that they couldn't walk on each side to simply put it in place. When they picked up our furniture from our old address, which had a basement, they were inexperienced in how to take some heavy large pieces from downstairs to upstairs. They made damage on walls as they went along. Thankfully our new construction (where they moved us to) is only one level. On 8/24, just a few days later, their manager (or someone in their office) committed to going to our rental to assess that damage to the walls and also come to our new house and assess the damage to our furniture. That never happened. No integrity to follow-through, no respect toward us, not even a call to tell us that they wouldn't be coming to see anything. I just called them this morning and got their voicemail so I left a message explaining all this and that I would leave a dissatisfied review.

It is the worst company to deal with. I ordered a moving help trough U-haul labor and made a payment $290 for 2hrs, 2 people - just boxes(July 15th, 2019). The order was accepted, but no one called be back as supposed to. It took me around 30 min to get in touch with them. The company representative excepted everything, but mention they will charge me more, cause it`s going to take them to drive 40-45 min one way. It was ok with me, but I wanted to know how much more ahead of time. He promised me to call back and never did. 3 hrs later a called them again and the same person told me that they were not going to accept my order. I asked why and he said that they are too busy for my order. When I asked why no one called me or send email to inform about the cancelation, he started to lie that my phone was not available and he had wrong number on file. (on the file was the same number I called from and on the uhaul side had the correct one - I checked) At the very end he said: " You have only boxes. It`s not hard, so you can unloaded it by yourself" Can you imagine to hear it from the moving company?! oh, and the best part about it, that I found out about the "cancelation" when all other companies were already closed.

Set up and communication were solid, but we were extremely disappointed with the care and lack of expertise when it came to the pack job done by the staff of Southern Utah movers. My partner and I moved across country and they packed our moving trailer. When unloading our furniture we found that our mirror, book shelf, and dining room table were broken. The table was packed right side up with very heavy pieces on top which caused it to buckle in and break the entire frame underneath including the sleeve extension. We called Southern Utah movers to discuss the damages and they were prompt to answer our call and assist us. However, they said because it was not broken during the pack job-they are not liable. However, one of the staff members even agreed that the table should have never been packed that way. We ended up being reimbursed only $36 for our nice dining room table. As a result of these events, we would never use their service again or recommend to any friends. We hope they turn things around and treat local customers better.

We were very impressed with Southern Utah Movers. They made our move from Cedar City to Payson a breeze. Josh is one of the most experienced movers ever. He seems to know how to solve any problem. The crew is also top notch -- Big John, Little John, Devin, & Jeff. They do the job right. I'm so glad we found them. We couldn't have made it without them. I highly recommend them to anyway moving in southwestern Utah.

The People at Cedar City Movers were top notch in every aspect. From the initial first call to the last piece unloaded at out new location. Our movers Josh & Devon was excellent. They were hard workers who handed our belongs extremely well. The communications throughout the entire process was handled in a timely manner. I would recommend them in a heart beat. Five Star Rating In All Respects To The Entire Team at Cedar City Movers. GREAT JOB !!!!!

We hired this company to move us from Utah to Oregon. Unfortunately, at the site in Oregon, damage was done both to the exterior and interior parts of the property. We were promised by Kolby (owner), that he would pay for these damages. We will repost after the outcome. After all, we all know that when it comes down to it, how a company keeps their promise is huge.

The stress factor of moving from one state to another is the equivalent to a divorce. However thanks to Cedar City Movers and their superb crew of Josh and Devon, not only was it a smooth and almost an “enjoyable†experience, unlike my divorces I didn't lose everything I owned! Quite the contrary, these two fine young men were efficient and meticulous in the way they handled our possessions. They were more than “movers†they were personable and a genuine pleasure to work with, almost like having family helping you move, except they knew what they were doing! We departed on time and were met at our new home right on schedule. When we encountered a glitch during loading these fellows contacted the owner Kolby and without missing a beat a decision was made and schedules were kept. So. California to Cedar City Utah all on time and not a single piece damaged and no walls were damaged during the making of this move.

Cedar City Movers just moved me 300 mikes from my home in Cedar City. They were by far, the best, most professional group I have ever used. I am a "serial Mover" and ought to know. Shout out to "Kasey" setting the move up, working hard to get me the best rate! The movers that drove up to Riverdale, Devin Sant and Josh Boggs, stayed and set everything up for me--If they took breaks, I didn't notice. Thank you Cedar City Movers!

Cedar City Movers delivered and exemplary experience! Pat and Todd were an amazing team! They showed up on time, they both listened to what we needed them to move for us and they were careful with our belongings. They even managed to get my very large, heavy furniture into our new home through a door that was 2" narrower than the door they got the furniture out of at our old place. They communicated with each other, came up with a loading and unloading plan and executed that plan efficiently. Both young men were kind, polite, personable and professional. They even came back later in the day to give us some shelf pegs they had removed from a shelving unit so they would not get lost and helped us take a table out of the car and into the house. I moved once every year from 2004 to 2013. I have had my share of what has to be the absolute worst movers in the industry. It was an absolute joy to have Pat and Todd move my stuff! The move was so incredibly smooth and they were so fast! They got our move finished right on time! Cassey, who answers the phones and makes the reservations, is also a gem. She is very approachable and very helpful when it comes to getting information about the company and also scheduling the move. Thank you so very much!

Thank you Cedar City Movers for accommodating us with our move! John and Larry did a phenomenal job helping us off load the vehicle while taking extreme care off-loading the entire 26 ft truck within the 4 hours we paid for their help. They were incredible and were even moving faster as the time limit got closer to make sure they didn't leave us hanging to off load anything by ourselves. Casey was truly wonderful in the office at scheduling us in with not only a short notice, but allowing us to push up the start time a couple times due to unforeseen obstacles in our travels getting to our destination. I would highly recommend this company and its movers to anyone looking for really great moving service!
