My husband called for a quote to flush the coolant and swap the thermostat in our truck. They quoted $159 for the flush, and another $200 for the thermostat.
A thermostat is one of the easier parts to swap (4 bolts that are readily accessible), although it can get messy if your coolant level is full in the lines, hence the flush at the same time.
The whole job is an hour of work for a novice mechanic. A decent shop wouldn't tack on an extra $200 to replace a thermostat which is easier to replace while the lines are already being drained.
Look elsewhere if you're looking for fair pricing.

I think they do a great job and don't feel over charged like most everyone else. They showed me the pieces they replaced and you could tell it was required. Our car has been running great.
