I called to get an appointment the lady who answered the phone asked me a few questions about the services I was needing. She said she would talk to the stylist asked for my phone number and would call me back. Well I never received a call back after a few days, I moved onto another salon who gladly made me an appointment . Maybe I should be grateful, if your salon can’t be responsible enough to call a potential client back how can I trust you to be responsible with my hair.

I’m not rating any of the hairstylist just the salon.Since most of the reviews for this place involve stylists, someone needs to write about the salon itself.The tanning beds that look like they’re 30 years old.. the cheap shoes that are everywhere. It appears the salon likes making fake walls with the shoe boxes it seems very unsafe and looks junky. The dirtiness of the salon and some of the incompetent staff. (Not the hairdresser).

Been using Alana for the past few months. Went to her while she was in beauty school and happened to find her at Attitudes. This episode occurred March 22; I've waited to see if any response would be received from the salon owner, hence the review delay. First 2 hair dyes went well. On third dye visit discussed Brazilian Blowout. She said she had learned the process in school and someone at the salon offered to let her use her product, so we scheduled the blowout a couple of days later. When I arrived home after the 3rd dye, I realized you could tell my roots had been dyed; they were a different color from the rest of my hair. I pointed this out when I went back for the blowout, and the stylist in the next chair suggested she use Gray Magic next time. The blowout process did not feel like other times - I've been having this process done to my hair every 3-4 mon for the last 13 yrs, though finding someone in UT to do it consistently has been a challenge. I've actually flown back to TX a couple of times to have it done and I keep a supply of all the aftercare products at my house for use every time I was. The shampoo Alana used foamed, which blowout shampoo does not foam, and the flat iron process felt like it was breaking my hair. When it was over, it was nice, and I paid $200 (incl tip) for the 1.5 hr process and went home with my fingers crossed. Got caught in the rain that afternoon, and woke up the next morning to a blowout fail. Sent a pic to Alana with a text of my obvious dissatisfaction going that weekend to my niece's wedding in FL with a bad dye & blow out, and asked her to cancel my future dye appt. Her response was to say how frustrating that must be, apologized for any inconvenience and wished me luck with my hair in the future. She explained it was her understanding it would not get rid of curl, only frizz. Since I have a camera roll FULL of straight hair pictures, and references from my prior stylist that flat is VERY achievable for my hair, "understanding" interprets to me as, "someone told me...I read it...I don't have experience but..." I took my husband's advice to calm down before writing anything and clipped my hair up for the wedding. Monday, April 3, I called Brazilian Blowout again for further clarification. (I had spoken to them the day I discovered the fail as well.) After explaining the situation and the outcome, they said it sounded like user error. I then called the salon and Alana answered. I asked to have the salon owner call me. Today is Friday; no response. I will update if one is received.

I love this salon! Emily Jaramillo was my nail tech and she always did an amazing job. I always had a great experience there, never had any problems with my nails. I was so sad when I had to move and change nail salons. Highly recommend.Service: Manicures

Brenda was amazing to work with! She was very personable and I could tell she cared a lot about my experience working with her. On top of that, she is incredibly kind and an overall joy to interact with. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a great cut and styling.
