I had been a Customer of Performance Toyota of Bountiful for many years. I bought my Truck (Brand New) from them in 2017 and have taken it back for Regular Servicing since that time. The last two times I took my Truck in I was told by the Service Writer that my Truck was in need of a Wheel Alignment. After I was advised of the need the first time around, I took it into a reputable Tire Shop and asked for them to check my Alignment. I was advised by the Mechanic that my Truck was in near perfect alignment. The next time I took my Truck into Performance Toyota they gave me the same line about needing a Wheel Alignment. I declined the solicitation for their Service Department to fix the issue based on my previous experience. A few days later talked with a Management Person who assured me that if indeed my Truck was not out of Alignment, as the Service Writer had reported and recommended for servicing, I would not be charged for that service. I was very skeptical with that report. I attempted to contact the Manager of the entire Dealership to discuss this issue and express my concerns. At the time of this review, I have not heard back from that Dealership Manager. I suppose maybe management is not interested? I am now very wary and do not intend to return to this Business based on my experience.

I want to inform potential car buyers about the deeply disappointing experience I recently had at Performance Toyota Bountiful. My interaction with this dealership has left me with a bitter taste and a strong urge to warn others about their questionable business practices.First and foremost, my dissatisfaction stems from the misleading information provided about the condition of a used vehicle I purchased from Performance Toyota Bountiful. The sales team assured me that the car was in impeccable condition, emphasizing its reliability and overall quality. However, upon closer inspection, it became evident that this was far from the truth. The vehicle exhibited several undisclosed issues that significantly impacted its performance and safety. It is disheartening to realize that Performance Toyota Bountiful not only failed to disclose these issues but actively misrepresented the condition of the car, leaving me with unexpected repair costs and a sense of betrayal.Furthermore, the sales tactics employed by this dealership were nothing short of high-pressure and manipulative. From the moment I stepped onto the lot, I felt an overwhelming sense of urgency to make a purchase. The sales team seemed more focused on closing the deal than ensuring that I made an informed decision. I strongly caution anyone considering Performance Toyota Bountiful to think twice before stepping foot onto their premises. Trust is a fundamental aspect of any business transaction, and sadly, this dealership has shown a blatant disregard for honesty and transparency. I implore potential buyers to explore alternative options and spare themselves the frustration and disappointment that comes with dealing with Performance Toyota Bountiful. In conclusion, my experience with this dealership has been nothing short of regrettable. It is my sincere hope that this review serves as a warning to others, prompting them to seek a more reputable and trustworthy dealership for their automotive needs. Performance Toyota Bountiful has a long way to go in terms of ethical business practices and customer satisfaction.

***Updated***I was contacted by the management department and everything was solved satisfactorily. Thank you Crystal S. for reaching out, and thank you Randi for caring enough and putting us customers first. It makes me happy to be treated with respect and dignity.Note: I am also updating my review since all issues have been resolved.Let's just say that I had a very concerning situation and as a result, I wasn't happy at all. I wrote a detailed review, and promptly it was resolved. I'm sorry for those who may be interested in the details of the matter, but I believe that once we'd solved an issue, we should move on.Because of this, I will continue doing business with Performance Toyota Bountiful, and I will recommend it to anyone who's looking to buy or service a vehicle.

Performance Toyota Bountiful has maintained my 2005 Tundra since I bought it new there in 2005. It has always run really well, part of which I attribute to the service they have performed through the past 18 years. Their staff is friendly and courteous and the shop is clean and well maintained, with OEM parts for my Toyota. If any out of the ordinary service is recommended, they give you the suggestion and a cost to deal with the maintenance issue. No pressure to do the work, just a suggestion. And they send discount coupons via email that help out in the cost of their service. All in all I've been happy with their work through the years and will continue to go to Performance Toyota for my auto maintenance.

Outstanding experience!! Highly satisfied for sure. Stanley Norkis made the whole experience for us and shared a wealth of knowledge. He also made the inevitable waiting time fun! Will recommend to anyone looking for a good vehicle and good service!

We went in to browse cars, my husband and I already had a pretty significant pre approval number and were interested in a singular car. We ended up lowballing at first in hopes of slowly creeping up to a realistic price, but were then told we should look at lower priced cars and didn't bother to negotiate. Other customers were more important and though they claimed to be short staffed, they seemed to find the numbers to help other customers. I get it, we look young, but you would've had two very excited buyers if you would have just had the conversation. They'll try to BS you about "honesty" but they're like any other dealer and try and get you with additional fees and claim to put x amount of dollars into a vehicle. You're doing your work in house, it didn't cost you an outrageous amount to tune up a vehicle that they claimed was previously well taken care of before it was traded in. Ridiculous.

I needed to get a car ASAP when my last one got totaled and I got referred to Angie and she is the absolute sweetest!! She was with me every step of the way and was on top of following up with me during my busy work schedule. She was able to find the perfect car for me on the first test drive! The management team was incredibly nice and found the most fair deal possible for my budget. Alex, the finance manager, was also cool and he was able to get everything organized and situated in a timely manner. Long story short, if you need help, definitely ask for Angie and Alex. Really personable individuals with fun personalities.

Update: I was contacted by my salesman and another lady from Toyota who were certain to make this right. Drake went above and beyond by doing a whole new detail, himself. He truly understood our frustration and sympathized with us. Although I wish he didn't have to be the one to detail for the third time, I am beyond grateful for his hard work and would recommend him over and over. I hope the detail team at Toyota uses this as an example of how to do better and it doesn't happen to anyone else who chooses to make their vehicle investment with this dealership.

I was an out-of-state buyer. The entire process from inquiry to purchase was just less than 36 hours and it was smooth sailing. Sales person Scott Corey was great to work with. He was accommodating and honest, without high pressure sales tactics. He was informative and helpful with getting the information I needed to make a decision long-distance. Hunter, the finance person, who did the loan/paper work was great as well. I was prepared to throw a battle to fight off the extremely high-pressure sales, only to find that it was zero pressure. A truly stressful and seamless, and painless process. I am definitely coming back for my future vehicles!

We Bought a 2023 Highlander from Ray Murrow at Toyota Bountiful, it was an awesome experience! It was crazy busy but he took care of us all the way to the end! He did his best to expedite the process as best as he could. I want to give another shout out to Hunter Burdy the finance agent, he was so awesome and so easy to work with! You always dread going into the finance office when buying a car but not with Hunter! All in all we had an awesome experience! Thanks again!

If I could give 0 stars to Bountiful Toyota, I would! I am writing this review to spare others from having to go through what I went through. We spent 8 plus hours at this dealership and we experienced every horrible new/used car salesman trick in the book from passing us off to a different person every 30 to 60 minutes to offering us "employee pricing" if we made the purchase that day. To make a long story short, this was the worst car buying experience we have ever had! Looking back, Toyota Bountiful seemed so desperate to make a sale - it was pitiful. Maybe it's because they know that the car market is about to crash or something. The Sales Manager even went as far as calling us a week later and threatening us that the General Manager would call us and they would pursue us legally because we did not go through with the lease. We will never buy a car from them, not will we take our Toyota there for service ever again. We love the Toyota products but we would rather drive an hour away to go to a different Toyota dealership to purchase a car or get one serviced. After reading all of the Toyota Way business books, I bet the Toyota leadership would be so disappointed in how we were treated at Bountiful Toyota.

Bought a car last Thursday June/15/2023 it was a 2014 toyota sequoia needed the 4L fixed said it wouldn't be long to fix and that they'll cover it all was told also that it was already sent in when I was buying the car so it won't be long ask Saturday said maybe it would be done didn't receive no updates until I had to reach out then said Monday it would be done sense they waiting for a part now Monday came around still haven't heard anything tell I reach out said there still waiting then nothing again sense seems like they don't care but ohh they cared to come get my trade in and give me a rental and not enjoy the car I just bought later in the Monday 7pm text the sales person saying what's going cause I've been waiting all day for at least a update told me "oh my bad I got off work at 5" like ohh nice with telling me that it would be nice to know that to have a update that point I had enough went to the dealership to see what the hell is going on spoke to the sales manager was told the car hasn't even been diagnosed yet and don't hold them to a due date the car will be done. While it was being "serviced" apparently it got backed into they still haven't gave me the guys insurance information when I ask them for it they said there gonna make a claim for it sense it happened on there lot was told this by Kim In service This point I'm gonna be doing all my business with Toyota down town where I know I won't get thrown in the trash after I trade in my car and buy another probably had better customer service at the sketchy dealership down the street and there motto putting a smile on peoples faces that's a lie Update was leaving outta town told them I'm moving outta town to Texas had to leave my last day of work just to make sure the car is able to be ready for when I leave I get there they told me everything was fine "but the shop Forman didn't feel comfortable with me taking it" I had no other way of waiting for the car it's my only car & I was leaving that night to move out of town when arriving to the dealership I was told also "it over heated" so it's giving me all signs of head gasket issue but told by Kim "The head gaskets are completely fine" so having to leave and feeling pressured into signing off on the car knowing that they don't trust there work. I then took it home packed it the car up the car didn't make it Provo with throwing a misfire code and overheating I had the car towed back and stayed that night instead of being able to leave to Texas had it tested for a head gasket test and it lost pressure pretty quick and looked into the cylinder where you can see coolant dripping on the piston so looking into my only option to get to Texas was flying spending more money while being worried and hoping the entire engine didn't fail. flew back after a week trying to figure out what to do while only call back to get checked up on and see how the car and I'm doing was about money on my last loan they wanted to make sure I paid it ask them if my warranty covers head gaskets was told they would ask but didn't hear nothing back tell I ask again then the sales person who sold me the car said "Kim will call you on Monday the day before 4th of July" so now I'm probably looking at $2k-6k for head gaskets on a brand new car I just bought!!! What a nice way to put "smile on my face"

Stopped in when they opened to get an oil change. They didn't even ope. Their doors to speak with me. I had to call them to have them tell me to go away. They are supposed to be in a service industry... I guess they don't need my money. Second Toyota dealership that didn't even let me in the door. This should really speak volumes about how Toyota is not standing behind their vehicles. Truly appalling customer service at multiple locations in the same day. I will never come back to this dealer ever again.
