We had airbag recall work and then maintenance work done on our Honda Pilot. The staff was fast and professional and got the work done in a couple hours. Initially, we had a mechanical problem, but performance Honda went out of their way to fix the issue and to give me a good experience. Their service manager offered to pickup up my vehicle from my driveway and give me a 2024 loaner vehicle for a couple days while they were completing repairs. They also free a complimentary transmission oil change. I am very impressed with how hard they work to treat their customers right.

Brought in my 2019 Honda Accord for some routine maintenance. Prices are a little bit hefty but is to be expected at any dealership. The Receptionist, Lauren, was a joy to speak with. She really made my visit and has wonderful customer service. Service was very timely and I appreciate the work of the Honda crew! Will be returning

My husband and I bought a SUV in March 2023 and not even 5 months later are having to put over $1547.41 into fixing several issue and now quoted to put another $1301.54 to fix yet another issue. We were told the car was previously owned by an individual who worked at Performance Honda and that the car was looked over by a technician so we should be good to go. However come to find out there was a transmission issue, fan belts needed replaced and the R&R APIM module needs replaced. Yes we bought the car "as is" however we would have not purchase the SUV if we had to put $3k into it not even 5 months after purchase. Yes, it could be coincidental but THREE major issues and the fact that the SUV was previously owned by on of their employees is very suspicious. This seems like fraud or at least misrepresentation of the sale as they covered up some issues the technician would have known about. After reaching out to Performance Honda they expressed they could not do anything as it had been 5 months and we chose to buy "as is". If you choose to purchase a vehicle from this establishment I would be VERY weary and recommend you don't.

On a month long road trip , I had a sensor go off going into Vegas. It disappeared after a brief stop but popped back on heading into SLC, so I stopped into Performance to get it assessed. The service receptionist was super accommodating and able to get me in the same day, which was impressive considering it was a holiday weekend and all the other mechanics in and around SLC were backed up. I thought that was impressive, but it wasn't.What was impressive was the customer service of not my service technician Tyler (he was whatevs. No follow-ups/explanations for over 2.5 hours avoided me like he owed me money), but another tech (dark hair w/ mustache) handled business. As I was sitting in the waiting area, Mustache was getting reamed by a customer for a lack of communication, for something he had no part in. Homeboy kept his cool the whole time!! He had the coolness of Mr. Miyagi and the composure of Pikey Mickey as he took his beatdown. He took it all and even apologized . Not only once but a dozen times, but even the receptionist apologized afterward. I guess being from California, I would never see that. to the Service department. 5 stars for receptionist and 1 star for Tyler as elusive as Utahian Bigfoot when it comes to customer service and service updates.

Have taken our van (which we bought here) for repairs several times (3 separate issues, probably 30 service appointments total). The service department consistently is NOT able to fix the issues; they are quite incapable. The service managers are defensive, disrespectful, and not customer service oriented.

Had to have some oil seals repaired on my Honda. LHM Honda quoted me a price with tax, shop supplies and 2 day car rental not included. Performance Honda did the repair including tax, shop supplies and valet service to pick up my car, repair it, and return it to my driveway. All this for less than LHM. Factory trained technicians did the job. Very pleased with my adventure with Performance Honda in Bountiful.

I have brought my 2005 CRV to this location for years. The car was bought brand new, off the lot here before it became Performance from Willey Honda. I've had 2 CRVs I've serviced here for the past 15+ years - a 2005 CRV and a 2012 CRV. I can say over the past 2 years the service has significantly decreased, both in quality and mainly in overall customer service. SIGNIFICANTLY.I brought my 2005 CRV in early 2021 with my check engine light on. I was due for an oil change so I figured it was just the warning. I explained this to the service tech saying the check engine light has come on before signaling oil change needed. So I thought this would just be checked and covered with an oil change. But instead he charged me $100 diagnostic fee to check the codes - not even diagnose but just plug in the code reader - before even trying the oil change. I asked why it was $100 when the services states a multipoint inspection with oil change and he said it was to check the codes. So after paying the $100 and having my oil change, I was told the check engine light was due to the oil being low and needing and oil change. Seriously.Fast forward to yesterday: I called twice, once at about 11 AM MT and second at 11:58 AM MT. First to get appointment and second to confirm appointment and relay I was running about 5-10 minutes behind. When I pulled into the garage at 12:08, the service tech at the desk couldn't find my appointment and then acted visibly annoyed that I would just drive in for an oil change. To back up, the reason for the appointment was because my check engine light came on during a drive yesterday morning. Similar to the story above, I figured that it was for oil cause I was about due for an oil change. So i get into the garage to drop my car off and the guy who gave me attitude about not having an appointment, doesn't even get up from his desk to come check mileage or anything prior to taking my car for the appointment. Fast forward to going to pick up my car after the oil change was finished. Upon getting into my car after it was 'finished', I turn it on and the check engine light is still on. I immediately pull it back into the garage, and ask the same technician why the check engine light is still on, and he gets defensive with even more attitude, saying "I was not notified that we were checking why the check engine light was on?" I asked him if he even looked at the dashboard lights or anything to which he didn't have an answer. I said "when you turned the car on to check the mileage, did you not even see the check engine light? Did you completely avoid that part in the 'multipoint inspection'?" And his reply, was a disgustedly, "I wasn't informed about the check engine light being on, and that would be another hour or two of diagnostic fee of $100/hour." I said I just had the car there for over two hours for an oil change, which was supposed to include a multipoint inspection, how was that not part of any of it - to simply run the codes from the bright orange dashboard light of the check engine warning!? He was unapologetic and basically said he could either keep the car for another couple of hours to diagnose, which may or may not end up being more that 2+ hours with shop time of $100/hour, or I could reschedule to have it done another time at the same cost. By this point, I already had to be back to work. Are you kidding me Performance Honda!? This is how you treat 19 years of loyalty to dedicated customers!? If it wasn't for me already having bought the prepaid oil changes and having 1 left to redeem, I wouldn't ever bring my car to your shop again. And regardless, I will steer every person I know to go ANYWHERE but Performance Honda to have any service, even as simple as an oil change. This is ridiculous.AVOID, AT ALL COSTS, Performance Honda SERVICE. They will upcharge you any way they can. They will try to con you into paying for diagnostic fees to simply plug in the code reader that any PepBoys or Autozone will happily do

December 2022 Tyler Vance. Service Department. He is the main reason I come in for my service for my Honda CRV at Performance Honda in Bountiful. He is the reason I bought another car at Performance Honda. He has never let me down. He is very respectful and pleasant and he answers all my questions. Thank you Tyler!

Me and my girlfriend came in after looking at other places and were greeted by Ethan and was quick to figure out what we needed. He answered all our questions about the cars and helped us pick the one that she liked. He was nice and wasn't pushy and he asked us all the right questions. We didn't have any big issues the only thing was that we had a struggle trying to get insurance figured out. My only advice would be to let us know everything we would need to finalize the purchase before we're almost done and are missing a piece. Our trade in went very smooth and the pricing was very reasonable. Over all a good experience.

Do not do business with Performance Honda!!! I purchased a used Honda CRV for $8000 out the door in October 2021. It was a fair price for the market at that time. But within six months I had to replace the brakes all around as well as the starter. I just reached out to them again today (10/07/2022) to trade in that vehicle for a newer used model CRV and they offered me $1000 trade-in. KBB value for the vehicle is $4500 average. We only put 10,000 miles on the car over the past year with minimal wear and tear over. I can understand vehicle depreciation but that is crazy. Read the other negative reviews out there on them. I should've done that to start out with...... don't go in expecting a long-term relationship with them....

I took my Honda Passport for an oil change, tire rotation, just a regular maintenance. They called me and said that my car needs wheel alignment. At the time the car was driving fine and I saw no indication of that, but, hey, I decided to trust them and let them fix the the issue. Right out of the door the car was pulling to the right - a definite sign it was out of alignment. I took it to a local Les Schwab, and sure enough - it was misaligned. So, I don't know if the car needed alignment or not, but it definitely needed it after Performance Honda Bountiful "fixed" it. P.S. I have been taking my Hondas (my family has 3 right now) to this dealership for a while and have not had issues before this one.

Bought a car from them. Salesman Sean was very scamish. Seemed dirty from the get go, empty promises all around. Vehicle immediately had issues, they did fix the issues but it was only after many intense conversations with upper management. Service department did better than the sales team but not by much

What a great experience we had today trading in our used car for a 2021 Honda. Our salesman, Jono Cummings was the best. He explained every feature in the car, answered all of my questions and gave us a deal we felt satisfied with. Josh in finance was also awesome. Paperwork went smoothly and very professional. I will recommend them 100%
