The owner of this motel was friendly and helpful. I was provided a nice, quiet, clean room with comfortable furnishings. I was even provided ideas and directions for places to see and eat. This place is a great oasis with great customer service. The grounds were a fantastic garden. I would stay here over a resort any day.

The store said “Open” so I came in and started to look at a book. After about 5 minutes the woman who owned it told me that she had to leave and said, “If you’re going to buy the book, just buy it. People always come in here and just wander around…” If you’re going to run a store, know that people may come in to browse. And if you need to leave, your store shouldn’t be open.

We were passing through Boulder and found a need to lodge here because it was late in the evening and we were tired. The place is cute, single level cabin type accommodations. The service was courteous and friendly. I appreciated the clean room, quiet atmosphere and hot shower. In the room was a big binder with many tips for local sightseeing and hiking trails. Since there was no internet in the motel the tips came in handy as we explored Boulder the next day. 4/9/2022.

Perfect, simple and clean accommodations! No one should complain about the simplicity. No wifi? Nice break from the digital world!! The owner is up front and honest in her description. Great value and super helpful owner. Coming back for sure.

We came in late to this small town and found ourselves neededing a place to stay on short notice. The owner was pleasant enough to start with but seemed paranoid of her guests and the room had signs all over it, instructions to not touch anything, don't bring your cooler inside, don't park too close to the flower beds, etc. The room was clean but very basic and contained and older, uncomfortable mattress a TV dinner table that wobbled and worst of all absolutely no Wi-Fi. This was the most expensive motel we had stayed in along the route between Bryce Canyon and Hanksville compared to other motels and the owner seemed like she's not open to changing anything any time soon.

We come down to this area every year and love exploring different areas. Needless to say it was out first trip to Anasazi State Park. After we were done admiring the history we decided to run across the street to Poles Place and let our kids look at the gift shop. (They like to bring their own money and save it up all year.) The minute we walked into the gift shop the owner (I would assume) immediately said not to let our littles touch anything as there are a lot of breakables. Okay, fine. Then my husband overheard her say to a family member "go watch them and make sure they don't touch anything like that boy is." That boy was my 12 year old son. My two small children were being held by me and my 14 year old daughter. I can say one thing... there were 10 of us and I have never wanted to leave an establishment as fast as I did today. Didn't make us feel welcome one bit. A little bit of hospitality goes a long way!

Basic motel with pretty flowers all around. Our tv had the antennas that we kept having to adjust to even get the few stations on the tv.The rooms were very vintage inside and felt overpriced for what the room entailed.

Camille runs it and is a decendant of the 19th century pioneer, Pole (from Napoleon), who founded this nice, clean, simple roadside motel. Boulder sits at the heart of the most beautiful geological excesses of North America. Easy drives in all directions soon exhaust superlatives. The Burr trail is a second Zion, itself a morning's drive away, past Bryce "Canyon". Capital Reef and Grand Staircase are up the road a few kicks in the opposite direction. Kodachrome SP, Glen Canyon, Hite, Cedar Breaks, Natural Bridges, Bear's Ears, Goblin Valley, Goosenecks, Mukey Pt, the Dugway are easy achievements, with Moab, Arches, and Canyonlands just a scoot farther. Pole's Place is my go-to spot for my absolute favorite motorcycle road ever. Kicks off with the Hogback, right outside of town, as you take the Journey Thru Time Hwy.

Great little place with friendly proprietor. Clean, not fancy but quite. Good eats and cold beer just down the road within walking distance. Bring a flashlight if walking after dark though. It gets really dark in Boulder! Motorcycle friendly but only if you don't have loud pipes (which is understandable).
