We stayed at the main lodge rooms 11 and 12. Had mini fridge. Great north view of mountains and pond.
Room is pretty average. Needs updating. Have to walk to office for ice and soft drinks. Very inconvienient.
Should be an ice machine at every building.
Food is a problem. Only sit down restaurant is hells backbone kitchen and it is only open for dinner and is pricey. Closed tues and wed.
No sit down.place for a full breakfast in the area.
Just coffee and pastery places, and eggs are precooked or in burritos.
Yucky poo. Same with lunch. Small cafe is next door and a food truck is 5 minutes away.
Even escalante 30 miles away does not serve full sit down breakfasts other than burritos that i know of.
Definitely a problem for me that loves big breakfasts.

I wasn't expecting much at this location but pleasantly surprised. Clean and close enough to walk to restaurants. It's probably the best place in this remote area and they allow dogs. Nice areas outside to walk the dogs and sit out on the patio. I recommend if you are in the area.

This place was much better than I expected. I recommend them highly. Rooms are big yet simple. Location is fantastic for all the activities in this remote spot of Utah. I heard great things about the restaurant, but I didn't eat there, so I can confirm. Front desk was attentive and very helpful. overall - great!

One of my favorite places to go. So much to see and do nearby, and it's a lovely place to return to- it's so serene. Sue went above and beyond helping me with my dog.

Quaint. Quiet. Beautiful. The fields of grazing horses, bird sanctuary, incredible restaurant, and friendly staff (thanks Erika!). I should have booked my whole vacation here. Treat as a destination, not just as a stopover, trust me!

What a wonderful experience for our family of four. Two grown-ups and two kids (teen and preteen) all had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We got adjoining rooms, and slept well. The lobby areas and balconies gave us space to spread out to read, take work calls, and hang out after hours. The food was fantastic (of course) and the views were incredible. The only complaint was that wifi needed to be restarted a couple of times - but ultimately that just gave the kids more screen free time! I've visited Boulder many times over the last 2 decades, and always crash on someone's couch, or stay on nearby BLM land, but the Lodge was a wonderful treat for all of us. We'll certainly be going back, and recommend it to our friends.Food & drinks: The dining was incredible. A little on the pricey side, but that's to be expected with the semi-remote location and quality of food, so I'm glad we budgeted for that. There are plenty nearby food options to supplement what is available onsite. cocktails were spot on.

We were lucky to get a room here before sunset. Could do the fantastic drive up Burr Trail and then come back to the lodge for a pleasant evening. We stayed in a large room with two queen beds right next to the open air hot tub. The room had an adjacent common room with a fireplace. All have its the best impression of Boulder Mountain Lodge.

Beautiful, New-Agey, homey, friendly and comfortable place. The rooms are spacious with a nice bathroom layout.

Pretty rooms with a nice hot tub near by. The staff were friendly and the bird sanctuary provided plenty of entertainment. The wifi was incredibly slow and would be easy for them to update the very old routers.

I am so jealous of all the people who had such a wonderful time at this place. I went for my 65th birthday expecting to make some good memories. Unfortunately my birthday fell in October during some Utah school thing so the place had more screaming children than adults. Not anything like the peaceful, blah blah blah claims on their website. When I complained they said I should come again when the school thing isn’t going on. So it was my own fault I had a terrible time because I chose to come during this Utah school thing. I had hoped my 65th birthday would be special but it was a disaster.
