Went while the museum was getting upgraded so didn't see the exhibits, but the outdoor dog site and reconstruction of the houses were really cool to see

This place was pretty cool. Lots of good information and displays inside. The outside walking tour was nice as it let us see different structures as they would have been used and as they were being uncovered. I think most people will enjoy it.For the record, we drove in while visiting Canyon National Park and the drive alone was worth it. The is a great little cafe a few miles away for lunch and an awesome little coffee shop along the way.

Took a scenic trip up through the area and stopped at the Anasazi State Park Museum. What they have assembled there is an awesome collection of exhibits both visually and outside life size replicas that anyone can walk into and explore. One thing is for certain, be careful if you are tall. The Anasazi were a little on the shorter side, or just hit their heads alot.

Awesome small museum that shares the history of the local indigenous peoples. The place is well maintained and the entrance fee is super reasonable. The exhibits are informative and you see some amazing history. The outside exhibit is interesting as it shows the remains of living dwellings. They have a nice food truck in the parking lot and a little field with a play ground for kids. It was a good time.

Small museum, but so much info. After my kids watched the video, they were happy to look through the artifacts. Engaging exhibits, a great stop, nice gift shop.

We stopped here to check out the ruins and the museum. The museum had more than we expected, and included some really neat artifacts - even a replica of what inside a pit house would look like. They have a junior ranger program for kids 14 and under. Our 11yo had to finish before we could leave so she could say she did it (and she got a fun junior ranger pin). The ruins were cool to look at, but not super expansive. We walked away learning a lot about the people who lived in this area centuries before. Definitely worth the trip out here.

A nice museum with many interesting displays of life 800 plus years ago. The dig site is in back of the museum, and gives one an almost spiritual feeling walking around the site. A lot of focus on understanding the past, and maintaining the access for future generations. Also, some great insect/butterfly collections, as well as many arrowheads, spearheads and grinding stones. Highly recommended and engaging for kids of all ages.

If you are into the history of pioneer’s journey to and settling in Utah then this just might be a must stop for you. Very interesting.
