They will not answer the phone. They want you to go online or swim phone menu after phone menu. They just lost my business.

Really impressed with my service today! I had to break my own passenger side window in an emergency and needed it replaced. Booking online was super easy. I booked their first appointment of the day and I was in and out in under an hour. They answered all of my questions and I was even able to pull up a discount code and had no hidden fees! Thank you all for your help! :) a big shout out to Tevin for his help as well!

Went to a pre-scheduled appointment and provided a VIN number for a “4 hour appointment” and they did not have my windshield ordered. Total waste of time.

Had my windshield replaced and paid for new windshield wipers to be installed. My appointment was a drop off so I wasn’t able to see any of the work being done. They didn’t replace my wipers and I found out while driving through a storm. I’ve tried calling multiple times to speak with someone about this and can’t get through to a live person. I’ll be talking with my bank about a charge back.

The people there are perfectly friendly, but their robot phone system is SO BAD that after wasting 20 minutes on it we gave up and drove the half hour to go in person. There is not a single “speak to a representative” or “speak to the receptionist” option whatsoever

I booked an appointment online for a $375 windshield replacement. Asked for VIN so they could get an “accurate estimate” which spit out a $435 cost with tax and a “recycling” fee. Ok, not $375 but fair enough. Safelite then called the day before to confirm the appointment and the cost had gone up to **$870** with a **$395** calibration fee added on! You had my VIN the day I requested the quote and would have known at that time whether a recalibration was required, but you made a conscious decision not to disclose the added **$395 fee** until the day prior. That is the dictionary definition of bait and switch and is illegal. Good news, there are plenty of affordable alternatives to safelite!

Had my windshield replaced that required recalibration on the camera. Set an online appointment and was told at arrival it would take 60-90 minutes. Ended up taking over 4 hrs. The Safelite team felt bad and were very apologetic about the experience. After I dropped off my vehicle it was difficult to contact the location and ask for an update once I dropped off my vehicle. So I went back after 2 hrs assuming my vehicle would be done. It wasn’t and was told it would be 30 additional minutes for the camera recalibration.
When I reached out again after 3 hrs of waiting my call was routed to a service center not related to the location. It took a 10 minute conversation to be connected to the location. Once I chatted with them and they found the technician that explained the delay and it would be another hour. After that call their communication was much better.
Wasn’t the greatest experience. It is apparent management is loose on organizational efforts and communication. The team was friendly and seemed to be trying to do the best they knew how.
This news really a 1 to 2 star experience but gave 3 stars because the team owned up to the issues and were apologetic.
Hope the location management can organize their business and get a better experience for the customer.

Impossible to talk to an actual human. You jump through all the steps to talk to a person and then you get disconnected. Yikes. Also called customer service line for warranty and the call ends and tells you to go online.

Insanely expensive for rock chip repair! Took me 5 minutes on the phone to figure out how to talk to an actual human to get an estimate on a simple rock chip repair. The guy I talked to seemed to be at a call center, not the actual store location, and wouldn’t give me any sort of quote without me first giving him all sorts of personal and vehicle info. He kept talking over me and seemed impatient with me. I finally got him to just give me a ball park range and he said $150-$300!!! For a rock chip repair! I got 3 other quotes from other shops—two were about $50 and one was $85 where they would come to my house. Naturally I chose one of those options, based both on price and customer service experience. Not impressed with my Safelite experience.

I scheduled an appointment online after receiving a $150 discount voucher. Online system gave me an estimate of $359.00 for the replacement and said there may be some added cost for recalibration, which is adjusting the camera that provides safety warnings. I thought ok, $150, $200 bucks more. They wanted to charge us $650 MORE for the window recalibration! The online system PURPOSELY does not include that cost because Safelite knows people wouldn't schedule an appointment. Poor person at the front desk had heard this before, for sure. I'm providing a warning here for anyone else who may need recalibration. I'm also filing a complaint with the Utah Division of Consumer Protection. This is a bait and switch and it was a waste of my time.

Horrible experience. I dropped my car off at 8 am and they told me it would only take an hour or two. I had zero communication the entire day from them until I called them 8 hours later pick up my car to which they responded “oh sorry we weren’t able to fix your car today. The new windshield we ordered came in damaged.” This caused me to miss an appointment that I needed to be to that afternoon. I can understand a damaged windshield is out of their control but ZERO communication, my husband had to work from home, I missed meetings, rearranged my entire day, etc. and they couldn’t even call or text.
This happened 2 more times. Honestly unbelievable!!!! I scheduled the apt, drove down there and they again told me the windshield was damaged.
I asked for compensation for 3 wasted trips to the shop, zero communication from them while my car sat in their shop the first time for 8 hours, my husband rearranging his work meetings, etc. and they compensated me with a free pair of wiper blades that cost $10 at Costco.
Finally, today was the 4th appointment. We were a couple mins late and they almost turned us away for service because we were late.
I do NOT recommend if you are looking for timely service and good communication.

My brand new car got a massive rock chip right in my line of sight, I was super bummed and wasn’t hopeful they’d be able to conceal it very well. Made an appt for the next day and after about an hour they fixed it and it’s hardly noticeable. Looks amazing and great customer service.
