The salesman Sam Barahona was great and his manager was fantastic. They were willing to work with me, and get the car to a price I was comfortable with. The car only had one key but they worked to get me a second set within a week.

TERRIBLE!!! STAY AWAY! This dealership does not care about their customers. They sold me a vehicle with a Lien on the title on 6/15/24. Still waiting on anyone from this dealership to reach out to me and rectify the title paperwork situation. They say they are waiting on the lien release? Shouldn't the lien release be done PRIOR to vehicle sale?
**UPDATE** 9/6/24 After sending out emails to 3 different people, Bret Allen reached out to me to help rectify the situation and finally the paperwork was sent to my local dmv yesterday and my vehicle is finally registered in my name. Situation done. This should've never happened in the first place but when dealerships sell used vehicles with a Lien on it and don't tell their customers, then this issue will keep happening and you, the customer, have to light a fire under their collectives butts to get anything done because they sure won't take initiative.
Anyway, Thank you Bret Allen. I really do appreciate your diligence in the matter.

I’ve been so hesitant to leave this review because I wanted to believe these guys were actually “hearing me” and were helpful. However, I’ve been losing patience and here we are… almost 2 months ago, I purchased a brand new traverse. My husband and I ordered the car in the spring and the ordering process was fantastic. We chose to order through Ken garff because they had such a friendly sales team and told me they were happy to honor my GM family discount. My sales guys, Alex, was so helpful with giving me weekly updates on the car. He was great! The traverse ended up coming in early which was a nice surprise too. However, the day came to finally sign paperwork and felt like such a nightmare. All of a sudden, it seemed like everyone was annoyed that we had a discount code. A week before picking up the car, I had called and asked about financing options and was told that I could use whoever I wanted, so I made sure to get a pre-approval for the best rate I could find. As we were signing paperwork, I noticed that a lender had already been assigned (without asking us or informing us of the rate), and for an interest rate higher than what I had gotten a pre-approval for. I asked if we could switch and They tried to fight us and tell us that we had to use one of their preferred lenders. They said that since we’re using the discount code, it would really be helpful for them if we used their lender so they could get their kickback…. I’m sorry, but you getting your kickback at my expense is not fair. Luckily, after some back and forth, we finally got them agree to just use our lender, and I truly appreciated that. After going home, I felt confident that we avoided any scheming and was happy enough with the process that I said I’d leave a nice review. The next day, however, I realized that a subscription to “Pladtech” had been tacked onto our loan for $995. This is a tracking service for the car that I was made to believe was a free trial (just like the free my Chevy app). I was told I could not leave the store until it was set up, and was not once asked if I WANTED to sign up for this subscription. It was listed as “other” on the itemized paperwork I saw, and it was explained that that cost was for some upgrades we had on the car. I would have never in a million years paid to sign my car up to be tracked, especially since the free my Chevy already does that! I called the next morning and explained the situation. They were very apologetic and said they don’t normally cancel that for people, but they were willing to do it for me since it wasn’t explained. They said they would send a reimbursement check to my lender for the full $995. Now almost two months has gone by and no check. My subscription to pladtech has been canceled, but still no check. I have called every week since then (at least once) to check on the progress of that check and can’t seem to get a straight answer out of anyone. I haven’t received a single call back after leaving voicemails and messages. I even talked to someone in person when I went in to pick up my plates, and I was told no one was available that day to help me. As far as I’m concerned, they have now stolen almost $1000 from me. I don’t know how else to get this out there that I would like money back. I’ve been trying to be kind and polite and patient, but ultimately, $995 is a lot of money to scam someone out of and that is so not okay. I wanted to believe this dealership was “different” and “not shady like the others” because that’s what they claimed the day I signed papers. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been my experience. People making a purchase this large deserve TRUE AND FULL TRANSPARENCY. That’s fine if you want to sell extras. Some people do like to pay for those things, and that’s fine and their choice. However, I don’t. Explain it to people, don’t just sneak things in act like it’s fine because it doesn’t affect a payment a whole lot. It’s still a lot of money, even broken up over time. Just please be honest with your customers and please give me money back.

Purchased a truck from them, friendly staff and Miya was great to work with. Parking was a bit of a pain and I had to park across the street at Maverik. I would buy from them again.

Horrible experience. I was told shipping was an easy process and no problem. 2 1/2 weeks later they have my money and I can’t get anyone to answer or return a call. Worst customer service I have ever experienced in the industry.

I got to the dealership only to find that the vehicle they had on KSL was sold. Roy Prieto worked with me to find alternatives. Thank you, Roy!

Literally been coming here for years. Their slogan should be "over promise under deliver". So done with them

Misa in sales and Brady Holmes are an amazing asset to Ken Garff. I’ve been meaning to write this review for months. These two helped us get a great truck at a reasonable price. Misa went above and beyond. He even made it so we could get the truck on the lift to look under it. Brady looked at several different lenders and got our rate way below our pre approval Thanks to these individuals for making this a positive experience! We drove 3 plus hours from home to visit this dealer for a particular vehicle they had in inventory. They held it for us and had it ready to be test driven upon our arrival. I recommend this particular dealer based on this experience and if I’m in the market to purchase another vehicle I will not hesitate to drive from out of state again!

Went in for service and they helped me quick. I didn't have to wait very long for my truck either. Even though they were pretty busy

I scheduled an appt online for a recall notice. I got a call 2 days prior to the appt letting me everything was ready for my appt. I showed up at 7am at my scheduled time to drop off the vehicle and was asked if "they" ordered the parts? I responded with "I hope so" and the person at the desk called the part department and found out no one had ordered the part and that they are a month out. I asked why no one let me know that but rather, the opposite when they called earlier that week. He told me that "we prefer you call for these types of services". He repeated that several time throughout our conversation. I asked why they do online appts if no one actually looks to see if they will have the parts needed to complete the requested service and he just said that no one does. He never offered an apology at any point knowing I had just wasted my time and gas to drive in and not be able to get the service that had been confirmed 2 days earlier. I then asked if we could use that appt to do an oil change since I was already there. Very shortly, again as if I should know, said that that team is out 4-5 days so there was no way they could do that. You just lost a customer.

Love Ken Garff. We bought from them years ago and came back again. Great sales people. Roy Prieto was great and went above and beyond.

Working with Jacob was a pleasure! I ended up buying elsewhere but he was helpful and kind and never pushy or salesy every step of the way and congratulated me on my new car even when he didn’t get to sell it to me. I don’t often leave reviews, but I thought Jacob was great so I just wanted to encourage anyone who goes to Ken Garff Chevy to ask for him!

Got the truck of my dreams at a great price! Had some special circumstances and Miya Hayward worked hard to make it happen. Now I am rolling down the road getting 30+ mpg in my new duramax silverado 1500 Rst

On two separate occasions, I called in to ask if a vehicle was available and was told that it was. I showed up to the dealership within 30 minutes and the vehicle had already been sold but it wasn’t sold in between the time I called and the time I showed up. Incompetent.

We had a great experience with Ken Garff chevrolet and it was all due to Troy Maag. He made the entire transaction flawless and so easy. We came from AZ cause he gave us such a good deal. We will definitely be back for our next vehicle. Thank you again Troy!
