Macey's is a fantastic grocery store! The employees always seem friendly and well trained. Their donuts are my favorite and of course the Kong cones are great! :)

The store was clean and well stocked. We easily found what we were looking for and checkout was fast. We used the self checkout as we only had a few items.This is a great option for when you just need to run in for a few things. We went later in the evening on our way home from a date.

The only thing worse than their deli is the Meat Department! Yesterday purchased fried chicken from the deli. Ordered chicken breast since I don't like dark meat. Got home and sat down to eat.....she gave me chicken thighs! Don't even shop at meat department anymore! Three trips in one week for a sale item and 1) Meat case empty, 2) No one in meat department! Third trip was 9:30am. Stopped shopping at Pleasant Grove store 2 years ago for same reason.

I used to go shopping at Macey's, and I was pleased with the prices, weekly advertisements, and customer service. That is no longer the case. Their overpriced, the weekly ads are a bad joke, and, much to my disappointment, the customer service is poor. I recently went shopping at Macey's to use a couple of digital coupons, and the attending checker and supervisor were utterly clueless. It was pathetic. One would think their employees would be trained about what and how their digital coupons and website functioned, but it is painfully clear that is not a priority for Macey's. They try to offer similar services as Smith's, but they fail miserably. I recommend Smith's because they have better prices and advertisements. Most of all, every checker and supervisor has a working knowledge about how their website and digital coupons function.11-15-23I wanted to update this post with a brief story. I was contacted personally by a representative of Macey's, and they wanted to discuss my concerns. I replied with TWO separate emails, and they never responded. I've lost all hope in Macey's. What a shame.

This grocery store has the best sushi in Utah county. When I say Best....image a 22 story building. Japan sushi is the all of the top 5 floors. Utah sushi in general is the lower 3 floors. This store I rate at the 2nd floor. Why better than Smith's. The absolute best sushi in Utah can be enjoyed on market street slc

I love the atmosphere and the employees in the store. The pharmacy employees are my favorite they are always going above and beyond to help everyone with anything they need prescriptions or otherwise!!

About 18 months ago I stopped shopping at the Pleasant Grove Maceys because they would advertise something on sale, in the Meat Department, but the meat case was empty 2-2.5 hours AFTER the store opened and no Butchers had come to work yet to even ask if there was more of the item in the back. When the AF Maceys opened it was great and I began shopping there!! Now, it seems they too are taking lessons from the PG store. Three times in three days I have gone to buy the chicken wings advertised. No wings in the case!!! STRIKE THREE! I am no longer going to shop there! Smith's and Walmart don't do false advertising!
