My wife stopped by here to get air in her tire that was a bit low on pressure but was far from being flat, the worker there told her the tire wouldn’t “take air”(whatever that means) and made her think she needed a new tire. When she got home I borrowed my friends air compressor and filled up the tire no problem. Either the workers aren’t very competent or they tried to take my wife for a fool and sell her on buying a tire when none was needed.

This location was awesome. They were super busy. I told them that I was on my lunch hour. They had my car ready 21 minutes later. I was there for a total of 36 minutes. I appreciate the great customer service!

I’ve been very impressed with the DT in American Fork! I’ve used them twice recently, and for the first time, and I’ll use them going forward. Admittedly, they weren’t my first choice when I showed up, but my usual place (conveniently right down the road) had a 2-3 hour wait and doesn’t offer the same services as DT, who got me in right away. With 3 customers in front of me they still finished in under an hour. They make the whole process easy. They had the best prices and discounts. Don’t sleep on DT!

Honestly, there is no where else to take a vehicle for tires, or issues related. I had two competitor shops state one of my NEW wheels I brought in for new tires was bent.
I called Jeff @ the American Fork Discount, and he had me come in the next morning. He and his staff were willing verify the issue for me. The technicians checked all 4 wheels, to find that the alleged "bent wheel" was just not balanced properly. They re-balanced the wheel and the problem was GONE!
These guys were thorough, professional and had it done in under an hour, while I waited. Once more, they showed me, while in process, how the wheel was diagnosed.
I made the mistake of going to a competitor to save 15 minutes.
I'll never make that mistake again.

Got a nail in my tire, and it stopped holding air. These guys took care of me in less than 30 min.
I was shocked when I got the receipt because the flat repair and tire rotation was free.

Amazing customer service, both front desk and the technician. Very well organized, and I was in and out (tire change) so quickly. Technician explained what he did, and why, and also answered every silly questions I had. Front desk gave me quotes, when I requested, and I am sorry I asked when the shop was busy. And my car ran great afterwards, too.

I purchased new tires from the Draper location. Since having the new tires put on my car shakes anytime I brake. I came to the AF location to have it looked at because I normally come to this location. I was told it would be done in 30-45 mins because there were only 2 cars ahead of me and they would make mine a priority since I was having to come back for an issue. I sat for an hour watching 5-6 cars being pulled in and pulled out and my car wasn't even touched. After an hour I went up to the counter to ask when they were going to take care of my car. The guy at the counter went to check and came back saying they got confused, but would take care of mine right away. So had I not said anything I probably would have waited a lot longer. I won't be coming back to Discount Tire for anything.

I bought four tires here and had them installed. The technicians broke my wheel covers which had to be replaced, and when I left I noticed a grinding noise coming from one of my wheels. When we took it back they offered to rebalance, which obviously wasn’t the problem, but nothing more.
