Wow! What an upgrade from the other local vet. This place is top notch.
I went in frazzled and worried, but the staff set my mind at ease. Jordan is very knowledgeable and keeps the exam room super clean. (My normal profound cat allergy didn’t exist.)
Dr. Carr is so kind, personable and professional.
Cannot thank them enough for not only getting me in on short notice, but for having A+ service.

This is the best Vet office I've been too.
I drive past at least 3 other vet offices to get here. They are outstanding. Compassionate, knowledgeable and genuinely care about their patients. I won't take my animals anywhere else.

This is going to be a long one. We love Intermountain Veterinary Services! I'm so glad we came to them! We started coming to Intermountain Veterinary Services 3 years ago, because they were willing to work with and accommodate a dog we were fostering a border collie, named Jack. Jack was a bit of a mess when we got him, he was terrified of strangers. He took a long time to warm up to people, and would bark, growl and lunge. Only having Jack for a month, he needed medical attention. I called our then vet who wouldn't accommodate Jack's needs. They said he would have to to be dropped off by himself, and wait in their clinic until the vet could see him. I told them that wouldn't work, he couldn't handle that situation. I had been to that vet for years, he helped us with our two senior dogs until they passed away , and I felt we had good rapport, so I was very disappointed. I called Intermountain Veterinary Services, and it was incredible. I wasn't even a current client and they immediately (and happily) told us they would help us with Jack and accommodate his high anxiety and stress. They expressed how grateful they were that we were willing to foster a dog, and help him become a family dog.
We ended up keeping Jack, because he has turned out to be an amazing dog, and we still go to Intermountain Veterinary Services for him and our other dog. Jack is still a little nervous at the vet, and they happily help him out. Our other dog Mesa, loves coming and seeing everyone, and everyone is so kind to give her scratches. The staff will praise him, and are so happy to see his progress. We have seen both Dr. Carr and Dr. Winn and we love them both. I love the staff, and would recommend them to anyone.

Best place for personal individualized care. They will fit you in when needed. It's just the right balance of warm and knowledgeable. Reasonably priced also.

We’ve had nothing but good experiences here. Dr. Carr took the time to explain things and answer all of our questions when our dogs bloodwork came back abnormal. He was genuine and caring and didn’t just treat us and our dog like another case, but as individuals. You can tell he knows that pets are treasured parts of the family and wants the best outcome for each of his patients.
We also love his vet tech! He is so kind and knowledgeable and it just seems like he was meant to work with animals.

The staff is very friendly, patient, and helpful. We switched here because they were willing to see us the same day for a small surgery for my dog. They were very throughout and showed genuine concern and care for my pet. They made follow-up calls and have always even available when we have needed them. Thank you, Intermountain Veternary Services!

They gave my parents dog who they were bringing in because she was sick… and as any vet knows a dog is programmed to hide their sickness which is why blood work is key… but luckily they took blood work but then proceeded to give her a Rabies vaccination in the same visit without seeing results (and a dog with a minor heart condition as the vet describes below). The blood work showed a liver infection the next day and she died within 24 hours…. Need I say more? A vet that will give your babies a vaccination when they are sick or on antibiotics or not even wait at least until the results come back from the lab before giving a vaccine that wasn’t needed for another 3 months without waiting for lab results back is not a vet I would ever trust. I will never take my dogs here after what my parents went through today.My response to their response below is that I am certain that they would not have given her a Rabies vaccine if they waited just 24hrs (there is not an honest responsible vet in the world that would give your dog a rabies vaccine if they had a liver infection) And if they waited and saw her ALP levels were 7 times the upper safe range at 993…. Why do I say “liver infection” with such certainty… they literally wrote “Liver” and underlined it on that lab work.

We love our vet! Everyone on staff is kind, empathetic, and genuinely loves animals. Options and pricing for services are clearly explained. Great notes after each visit. We said goodbye to my sweet cat a few weeks ago, and they sent me a lovely card signed by everyone in the office. Great people, great care.
