“It’s difficult to pass this nursery without stopping. But lately I bought a beautiful round concrete table that came with three benches. Zach delivered them this morning all the way to Edna with a very small delivery fee, thrilled with the table and benches and with his helpful attitude. I can’t wait to go back by there and pick up some of his beautiful flowers and young vegetable plants for our springtime planting. The place is a huge favorite in our family.”

“Went in and behind the counter the man ignored me for 5 minutes. Then turned around and just looked at me. No Hello, can I help you, sorry you had to wait while I was gossiping. I just stood there waiting 2 minutes. Not a word. I asked a question and was told no before I finished.The lost a long time customer. I sure miss Charles. These Low browed folks that exemplify why Yoakum is a failing town. The first item was Nope. I was there to purchase about a thousand bucks of stuff that I got at Gonzales Build CtrIt’s a shame because the have great selection and lots of stock.”

“I worked here all through High School and for a little while afterward. Whenever I'm in Yoakum visiting my mother, I shop here for gasoline and lottery scratch-off tickets. Everyone once in a while, I'll even run into people I know. The convenience store is now owned by someone else, but I like shopping here for old times sake. The attendants are very prompt and efficient in their customer service. I hardly ever have to wait in line. If you need an item really quick, don't hesitate to shop at Handy Stop.”
