We love this Woodforest location!! The staff is super friendly and the manager Dawn is very knowledgeable. Highly recommend—especially since they are conveniently located inside Walmart.

Some of the staff at Woodforest have been a kind experience but my experience has been truly a nightmare overall. I feel so upset with myself for starting an account with this bank and bringing the money that I had and the value that I had to a team that is never available. Always off the grid. No matter how many times I call before 5:00, they're not available 90% of the time. I can never get in touch with supervisors or managers and no service on the weekends. If you have an account that keeps 500 or $1,000 and live check to check this is the right bank for you but for anyone that has any type of real money I would never bank with this place. I have just absolutely been devastated in my experience has been nothing less than a complete nightmare from the managers to the customer service team. I think the only team that told me anything was the fraud department and they have no real power to make anything happen for me after the obvious fraud that was done on my business account. I'm just completely disgusted with the entire team. No one from higher up has called me except one person and everything they told me had no value whatsoever because none of it was done or handled. A wife and I agency plan to go to the press and publicize the experience we've had with Woodforest because of the level of disappointment that we've had. With all that said, we are very nice folks, very hard workers and very reasonable, but too much time has gone by with this type of experience and then 90% of the time that I call. Literally you never know whether you're going to get someone nice or someone that has an absolute attitude on the phone and just ready to get you off without listening or taking care of the problem. My recommendation is go to any other bank besides this one.

Hope you don’t ever need anything important because they NEVER answer the phone!!! You either have to drive all the way up there or hope someone answers the main Woodforest customer service number

Google doesnt get it!! Im out side of a closed, it has no power, Woodforest. I still need an open Woodforest. Guess ill use Microsoft bing or something

Stefanie, the Manager at this branch is Fantastic. We have been with Woodforest since December f 2009 and have known Stefanie since 2016 at The Plano location on Spring Creek. She is always so kind and helpful and very understanding. I do not like the branch by my home--they do not have their act together. So we will drive a little further and go see people that seem to care about their customers!!! Keep up the EXCELLENT job and Customer Service that you are showing.

Don't open an account here if you expect to make paper deposits in person. They will automatically assume you are a thief and question you about your deposit even if you have substantial funds in the bank. On one occasion, I was depositing $1000. Only after another teller told the one I was dealing with that "he's alright we see him in here all the time" did they accept the deposit. On another for $3000, they had to call the manager at home. Yesterday, trying to deposit a $500 CD interest payment from another bank, the teller asked me if I ever saw one of these before. Yes! Every month! In none of these cases was I deducting cash from my deposit. I don't get it but I have written corporate about it.

I Want to give credit where credit is due Dawn ,Caroline ,and Shelly , at the Wylie branch These lady's are wonderful . very friendly always have a smile and eager to help . So thank you Ladies for going above and beyond I would give 6 stars if i could . If you need to open an account get a loan or have any questions I highly recommend going to see any of these ladies
