“Very busy store but they know what you need and how to get it. Prepare to stand in line but the manager is going as fast as he can. In the store they have anything you will need for moving. Paper, covers, dolly's, pads, locks, tape, etc. I noticed their boxes are much cheaper than Lowe's. And that low price surprised me. We got a one way 26 foot rental truck one day to Atlanta GA. The truck is a GMC 5500 series with a 454 gas motor in it. It drove very nicely. No issues at all. The rate came with about 150 extra miles to ensure we didn't have to pay more in the end. The service was great and to the point. They gave us 4 days (96 hours) with the truck. It was just enough time to load for 2 days and get to Atlanta and off load it. The truck got about 9 miles per gallon and we ran it as fast as it would go. It was also loaded to the ceiling in the box so I was probably carrying 8000 pounds of household goods. The trucks are governed at 75 MPH. The engine basically starts shutting down when the truck reaches 75. It had plenty of power to pull the truck up and down the hills of Alabama. Please note that the 26 foot includes the small 2-3 foot long small compartment above the cab. In other words it's not a true 26 door bed. With Hertz and other rentals, the measurements are not misleading. This truck box is high and you will need a step of some type to load and unload to the ceiling.”

“I made a reservation on the mobile app for a three hour rental of a truck. After having a terrible experience at another U-Haul chain location, I arrived at this one hoping I could get my move done today. When i arrived at the location, I was looking for my truck as instructed by the app. One of the employees who were tending to the returned trucks greeted me and helped me find my truck quickly. Once I located the truck, I went inside where multiple employees jumped up at the chance to help me and give me the keys. The truck was very clean and the return process was simple. I would highly recommend this location to any one in the Garland or East Dallas location who needs to move.”

“Friendly staff, my only complaint is that they use to charge by the pound (a few years back). Now they charge by the size of the tank. So if my 20 pound tank only needs 12 pounds, I still pay for 20 pounds. I miss the good old days.”
