“I've normally never had any problems with this pharmacy, but one woman in particular has been an issue the past few months...she may be new. But three times she has failed to relay pertinent information concerning new medications and our insurance which has resulted in me phoning my doctor's office for no reason. As stated before, she may be new. Other than that I have been satisfied with the remaining staff and their professionalism.”

No answering service saying: Leave a message with your phone number and we will call you back in 2 hours, and when you leave a message to call you back unfortunately, they never call you back. Again, thank Walgreens pharmacy always willing to help my questions.?⭐️”

“I've been going here for years for my prescriptions. I've never had any sort of issue with them, and even when I did, they're very quick to deal with it.
I'm not sure what's the deal with these bad reviews, I assume it's just to band wagon, however my prescriptions are always on time and available and they are always ready to answer my phone calls swiftly when I leave a voice mail. During a period in time, one of my medications was unavailable to be covered by the manufacturer coupon, and I wasn't paying 1,000 for 8 pills. The pharmacy was able to explain over the phone the issue and give me advice, which included calling my doctor for a backup.
They're always super kind and respectful, and just recently, they held a product up at the front for me to pick up.

“Updated Review: I'm editing my review after a conversation I had on the phone with someone from the pharmacy. I'd left fewer stars because the pharmacy does not routinely file compounded prescriptions with insurance companies. The person I spoke to listened with empathy and took into consideration some ways that the pharmacy could be more transparent up front about their business model; I also listened with empathy about the store's need to place their employees in the positions that would keep their business sustainable and their employees compensated fairly. All in all, Sands is really a phenomenal pharmacy. They took the extra step to call my insurance to see if the medication was covered (it was rejected, even though the insurance rep assured me that it was covered), so in a situation that is naturally stressful and confusing, it's nice to see that they try to make accommodations where possible. Thanks, Sands! Old Review: I like this pharmacy, but they refuse to file compounded prescriptions with your insurance company even when the insurance company confirms that the compounded formula is fully covered. This policy shifts the paperwork and expense and stress back onto the patient, so rather than being a source of comfort, the pharmacy becomes a source of anxiety and frustration. Please consider changing this policy. There’s no reason why you can’t file a prescription with an insurance company who is willing to cover it.”
