“I've tried several liquor stores in North Dallas, including Total Wine, Specs, Siegels, Empire Liquors, and others. Empire Liquor is my go-to because of their selection and Matt. Empire is a smaller liquor store, but they have a great choice. I've looked into their tequilas and whiskeys, and they have a great selection that goes beyond most other liquor stores. Total Wine does have a much more extensive selection (probably the biggest of all the liquor stores in Dallas). But Total Wine has often tried to direct me away from highly rated tequilas and whiskeys towards their brands. I don't trust their recommendations, and it rubs me the wrong way that they push their brand over other highly rated brands. That's where Empire sets itself apart with the honesty and knowledge of its sales staff. Matt, in particular, has been a wealth of knowledge. I've let him know what type of liquor I like (ryes and tequilas), and he always shows several different brands and talks about how they're different. I've followed his recommendations and he's not steered me wrong yet. My wife was impressed with the Respodo tequila he recommended. This is why the Empire Liquor store is now the only place I go for tequilas and whiskeys.”

Whenever I need to stop by for something to celebrate an occasion, a birthday, a holiday, whatever it may be, Patrick and Matthew are two of the most attentive and knowledgeable associates I've seen. They offer great suggestions and are always willing to answer any questions I might have about a particular spirit. They're also very friendly and sociable, which cannot be understated or under-appreciated in this day and age. Their customer service is undoubtably what keeps me coming back.”
“A very nice and clean store. Everything is laid out neatly and the guy behind the counter was nice. The prices are…okay. I noticed that the bourbon prices are slightly higher than average but I also noticed some rums that are priced lower than average. So it could be a hit or miss depending on what you want but the store seems to be well stocked. Will probably return.”

“I go when the people I'm with either want/need to pick something up from there. The times I've gone have had demos. ? The demos I've tried on other occasions have been tequila, vodka, various wines. My most memorable was gin, and the individual that did the demo. Very knowledgeable individual. Had his drink in a premixed container he used to pour into lil' cups.”
“Decent selection of juices at prices that are slightly higher than other places, but well within reason. The staff was super friendly. And I really like that they have a customer loyalty program to allow their regulars to purchase incredibly rare items at retail price.”

“My first time here was last Saturday, the 17th of December. I met with the owner, AJ, and he was extremely friendly, helpful and generous with the samples. The store has a great selection and very competitive pricing. They have a great variety of barrel picks, the store picks are very solid & AJ (and his staff) will help make recommendations of their impressive selection if you need them. My second time in was today, a week later. Even though it's almost an hour's drive away from where I live (more with traffic), I don't think I'll be going anywhere else when it's time to stock up. Love the place!”

“Great store with a surprisingly huge and deep selection. Very rare and unique bottles in every category and everything seems to be great pricing. Owner is very friendly and helpful with a great knowledge base across all spirits and wines. Definitely worth a visit if you are into deeper cuts and rare bottles or great priced everyday bottles.”

“Above and beyond awesome customer service!I called to check on stock of an item, but it was out of stock. I've already had some difficulty finding said item, so that was no surprise. What was a surprise, is the call I got a bit later, from the store. They found what I was searching for and then made the effort to contact me and let me know they had it! Someone actually cared enough to go above and beyond and I appreciate it so much!! I feel terrible that his name escapes me as I'm writing this, but he knows who he is! It could of been left at "out of stock" and I'd of been none the wiser. He took the initiative to go look in the stockroom, surprisingly found my item, and then he found my digits in caller id and BAM! I'm a happy girl! Thank you!”

“2/23/24: This was my first visit and I was impressed by the variety of beer and wine available. There were some very unique wines available. Customer service was great. The staff was personable and they maintained a list of customer requests. They will attempt to obtain what their customers are requesting.”
