Be very careful about using PODs for moving. They seem to have scaled back delivery areas and are now charging much more for your move. They currently have my POD in another state and are charging me 2000 more for the move to area not far from original move planned a few months ago.

Do not recommend using. Something happened to their customer service and ability to deliver where they are now saying they cannot deliver to some cities, can only drop off at PODS hub. Causing additional cost of uhaul truck and 5 hours of driving. Also price to deliver went up $2000. Will neve use them again.

It’s a terrible company with hidden fees and not an ease or conscience factor. I have an ongoing dispute currently. I ended up picking up my good with a uhaul truck and moved my goods for cheaper and safely.
Items were damaged on the single container that they did move for us and luckily the only 1 of 3 we were going to use. They tipped the container and damaged our goods.
They are not military friendly like they claim and there military specialists are not that and it used as something for advertising.
They put you on hold for long periods and hang up on you. They will not get you to a manager and do not try to make things right.
I highly recommend you stay away from the company to keep you from a terrible experience like my family has had.
I don’t believe my container was stored inside like it was suppose to be and it definitely was not handled with care as the pictures prove.
They also keep everything In an unlocked facility that only let you access items from 9-3 although when we got there for our container the guy left at 130 and we had free rein of the location.
Save yourself and run! (This is a shorted version of my experience.)

My POD was entered unathorizedly and lock was cut, Yes items stolen from my container. That's how my container arrived. No lock and even sawed the container latch As a truck driver 28 yrs professional this is totally unacceptable.

So I’m reading allot of the reviews left for this moving company stating they are a bunch of crooks. Overcharging customers, delivering pods when not asked for them and charging them. If they didn’t pay for the additional box they wouldn’t deliver which then caused a delay in delivery and pods wanting to charge more money for storage. My kids made an arrangement by phone with pods who as of this morning want more money and again threatening not to deliver even after confirming with their customer service an agreed upon payment. Then telling them there isn’t anything they can do and if they don’t get the additional monies there pod would not be delivered. So, pods ended up taking the additional money out this morning not notifying my kids of the charge until my daughter called to ask the reason for the additional charge. This service really is a great idea and convenient for people who don’t have the ability to move long distances without trailers and trucks but it would have been cheaper for me to rent a trailer and travel to Florida and bring them back on my own. Pods had an agreed upon payment for their service and have continued to add to their cost at every turn and holding my kids’ stuff hostage. Do yourself a favor and find another company or do it yourself!!!

I liked the convenience of being able to load the pod and unload at my own pase. They moved the container for me. That just made the situation I was in way less stressful. The only thing I didn't like was you couldn't pay your monthly payment earlier than the due date. And if you return your pod before the end of the month they don't give you a prorated refund.
