I cannot express enough how impressed I am with the exceptional service and expertise provided by John and his team at East Texas Automotive.
From the moment I walked in with my Subaru experiencing brake issues, I was greeted with professionalism (especially from Richard & Tiffany) and a genuine commitment to resolving my concerns promptly and affordably. Not only did they diagnose the problem swiftly and offer a reasonable price, but they also went above and beyond by providing wifi in their office and insightful consultation regarding my future vehicle purchase intentions.
Re: my recent vehicle purchase … Their dedication to customer satisfaction was further exemplified when I brought in a 2016 Ford Explorer listed at $17,500 for assessment. Despite its seemingly appealing specs, they uncovered significant impending issues, saving me from a VERY costly mistake.
Even more impressively, John personally went out of his way to recommend a better alternative—a similar 2016 Explorer with fewer miles and a more reasonable price tag. Thanks to their expertise and proactive assistance, I now own this second Explorer and couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

The one handed guy will over charge you unless it’s under warranty.it don’t cost 600 dollars for a starter and 300 for a tow across town

When it comes to dealing with mechanics I’m always cautious and skeptical. Being back in Winnsboro since 2020 ETX auto has been my go-to place for any auto needs. The staff is amazing, they communicate issues clearly, and they’re honest. I trust this group my vehicle and you can too!
