Great experience on a home mortgage loan with Shannon Melton But I was there at 900am thinking since I banked there that I could have some papers notarized I told the notary that I had an account with CNB but my daughter and son in law didn’t She told me she could not notarized any papers unless they had accounts To me that was a slap in the face especially since my loan is over 200000 As I left she new I was upset and she made it a point to tell me to have a nice day

This Bank has zero customer service. I moved to Winnsboro last year had been banking with WellsFargo for over 20 years but they don't have a local branch. I decided to open an account with CNB and from the beginning I have had nothing but problems. First issue is that they do not have 24 hour customer service for ATM issues. I was in Dallas and had an issue with my card and had no way to access my money till the next day. Was told by branch president that CBN could not compete with Big Banks like Wells Fargo and that there was not enough demand to justify offering 24 hour service. Second, they have denied two of my mobile deposits because of the fact that I did not endorse the check correctly. Apparently just the account number and signature is not enough. You also have to write mobile deposit on the check. Would have been nice to know that before I was on the road without access to the check to redeposit. Generally the staff is rude the management complacent and this bank is no longer going to be my bank. Who ever said small town banks offer good personal service has never banked with CNB
