Wimberley Market Days is the Texas Hill Country's largest outdoor market, with almost 500 booths on 20 oak shaded acres. For over 50 years, the market has proved a great place to shop for unique one-of-a-kind items, listen to live music, and enjoy great food. Market Day is held on the first Saturday of every month from March through December. Over 200 volunteers from the Wimberley Lions Club and local civic organizations provide their time and resources to make each Market Day possible. All net income from parking lots, concession stands, booth rentals, and hauling goes to Wimberley Lions Club grants that support local programs, non-profits and activities. In 2018, Wimberley Lions hit the $4,000,000 mark in contributions! Visitors can expect a fun and serious shopping experience, with great prices and a wide variety of items, from antiques to hand-made wonders and imports. The market is known for its vintage finds, including brands like Lucchese boots. Visitors are advised to arrive early to avoid crowds and secure parking, as prices have increased to $10 at the Lions Field lot.
Hundreds of booths/shops selling all sorts of local items, antiques, clothes, pottery, artwork, plain junk, and of course imported goods. Something for everybody. Prices are generally high but most sellers will negotiate.
