I had a flat tire and I'm not sure If it was the owner or manger but my card wouldn't work and he totally helped me with the air and then helped me wash my car....I was so taken back back his kindness! This is the best car wash ever!

Something has changed in the last year or two. Todays Ultimate Wash didn’t give me an undercarriage spray or a couple other cycles that should have happened. I was in and out of the wash bay in a couple of minutes. This is happening more frequently and that makes me sad. I have used this car wash for years and years and never had problems until recently. Please maintain your machines so our community can receive the Ultimate Car Wash (and all others) as advertised.****Edited to add****I changed my review after reading the reasons why the service has changed. Thank you for letting me know. Water conservation in the car wash industry must be difficult. I did not see a sign about the changes but wasn’t looking for one. I was only charged for the $12 wash which was appropriate

I just paid $12 (again) for a mediocre car wash...my car was in the bay for 5 minutes. I didn't receive a rinse, wax and the hub caps were filthy, although the green "go" light came on indicating the service was finished. The air blower came on for about 2 minutes. This is the 4th time I've used this facility...I'm done. Never again.

Very little soap put on car last two times using basic car wash. Lights didn't come on to say GO when I was supposed to exit either. The lights on the right side weren't on when I entered.

1st time I used the auto wash, it was ok but the dryer was not working2nd attempt, cc machine not working.Cannot comment on the self wash but dang.....upkeep your property owner

Steve Weldon, owner of the Texan Car Wash is more than a business owner. He cares, he shows you how to use the equipment and he cares about the people he serves. When something goes down, he’s right there fixing it. His value in the amount of time you get to wash your car on the manual is 3x the length of time for your money you get at other car washes. Great basic DIY carwash. They also have an automated option but I prefer to do it myself to save a couple of bucks and get the hard to reach spots.

We moved near Wimberley last year and WOW the onslaught of spring dust and pollen on my car is horrible! I discovered Texan Car Wash and love it- the line was too long for the automatic so I just used the self-wash. I haven't done self-wash in long time, but it was quick and convenient. After soaping up my car and thoroughly using the rinse cycle, I DID NOT have a problem with spots on my car and all of the yellow dust came off easily. I thought I may have an issue with payment because I was impatient and swiped my credit card more than once, but after the initial $10 hold appeared the next day or so that disappeared and the actual charge of $6 (or $7?) went through on my card. I knew if the charge came out to a million dollars I was confident I could call the owner and he would correct it (after reading other reviews). I honestly think if you just give it a little time the charge situation will work itself out on its own (usually/probably/in most cases). I love this little carwash and feel so lucky to be able to whip in and deal with my car any time instead of having to drive to San Marcos. I'll be coming here A LOT for sure. Totally recommend Texan Car Wash!
