I LOVE The River House! Gift giving heaven. They carry ALL my favorite brands. They have absolutely something for everyone. If you live in the Austin-San Antonio area or visiting like I was, you must go! I’ll be an online customer for sure and when in Texas next, it’s on my list to visit.

Not to be missed! This store has the cutest clothes on the square! There is always a great variety and they are constantly changing their merchandise. Also, you can always snag a great in season top or dress on the sale rack outside. A nice selection of gift items and super friendly staff. Honestly, I don't understand some of the reviews I've read; very nice employees and I've always had a great shopping experience.

This is a gorgeous place in the heart of Boerne, TX The place is beautifully designed and built in terraces at different levels, along a hill cliff. The service, food and environment is so nice and peaceful with a view of the river down below the cliff. So much vegetation that makes it a great place to relax while enjoying a great food. Definitely will be back when in the Boerne area.

While this store had a few passably nice items, I will never be returning. The entirety of the staff was rude to me and to my dear mother, who was shopping with me. They looked me up and down with this distainful look on their faces while they whispered to each other. I'm wearing chinos, a blouse, and a Gucci bag so I'm not sure how this was started, but it was very pointed and clear that they did not want me as a customer. It was offensive and tawdry. Their responses to any question or comment we had were sharp or condescending, as though we were wasting our time. I was very disappointed by the general attitude of the women working today and if this were my establishment, I would be embarrassed by the disposition of the staff.

Visited this store w well behaved tweens. The much older dirty blonde woman was rude and mouthy. There are no signs that say do not touch ANYTHING. She was ranting to the store associate that the kids were touching everything and their parents weren't doing anything about it. I happened to over hear and being that we are the only folks in the store, I Kindly let her know the children would gladly not touch anything if she would just ask,she responded well they should know. Again, well behaved children who were browsing to spent their money they had. We went to other boutiques and spent our money elsewhere. We visited other boutiques and thanked them for providing a family friendly environment unlike River House. They were not surprised at the treatment we received in the store and noted that many leave the store empty handed and that the environment in the store (River House) significantly helps their business and people leave without purchasing. We love Wimberley and shop, shop, shop multiple times a year. This is the first time we stepped in this store and it will be the last.

Best customer service! I bought the adorable salt and pepper shakers during a trip a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, when I got home, the pepper wasn’t working properly. Not only did they mail me a new one, they wrote a sweet note!

This is a beautiful shop with a wonderful array of gifts, home decor, jewelry and loads more. I will definitely shop there again when I'm in town.
