“Beautiful grounds, and the cottage had everything we needed. Loved the hot tub. It is such a unique place for dog parents, there was a dog bowl, little treats, cover on the couch, even a little fenced dog park, our pup felt at home straight away.”

“I love this cute, quaint, boutique hotel! It’s in an excellent location walkable to everything in Wimberly! It is very quiet in the area but still so close to everything. It was very clean, fully stocked with all the necessities, has nice lush robes in the room and a very comfortable bed. It’s a great getaway for a long weekend and very close to many wineries in the area! One of my favorite things about this place was watching all the tiny hummingbirds feed off of the flowers surrounding the pool area while lounging in the pool. I highly recommend Hotel Flora and Fauna and know I will be back for a fourth time!”

“I absolutely love Getaway Wimberley! I have been 4 times and each visit has been great, I'm hoping to come again later in the year. I did notice they updated the AC units and it makes the cabins so much better and allows more room for storage. Just a suggestion, maybe add some rules to the the site about curiosity to others. Someone was flying a drone over the cabins for 20mins. It was a little weird seeing it fly over and annoying to hear the buzzing but this was no fault of Getaway.”

“Yurtopian was my solo retreat for soul healing. Comfort, peace & quiet & to be surrounded by nature were at the top of my list. It delivered on ALL counts! The Mongolian yurts are truly ah-mazing! I slept through a storm the sound of the raindrops hitting the rooftop was just the sleep mode I needed. You just have to experience it for yourself! Very unique & the property is clean, safe & well maintained. Who knew semi-outdoor living could be so cush!”
